Hey, “The Blacklist” fans. We hope you guys enjoyed tonight’s episode 21. Now that it is officially over and done with, it’s time to take a look at what’s about to take place in the next, new episode 22. Episode 22 will indeed be this season 6’s finale episode. So, we certainly expect to see big, big things and some possible cliffhangers to set up for the new season 7!

And yes, guys. That is totally a confirmation that there will be a new season 7. We’ll have more on that later, but we can officially confirm with you, right now, that a brand new season 7 is happening!

With that said, let’s get back to the matter at hand. NBC did deliver a new press release for the new season finale episode 22. So,that’s what we’ll be using for this spoiler session.

To get things started, their press release revealed that episode 22 is officially titled, “Robert Diaz.” Yep, that’s another episode named after a specific person. It sounds like episode 22 will feature some very action-filled and intriguing scenes as Liz and The Task Force try to stop a major disaster! Red meets up with a man that has very unique information and more!

We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Liz and Task Force situation. It turns out that at some point, the president’s true plan will get brought to light. This will prompt Liz and the Task Force to quickly mount up and go to war in an effort to stop a huge disaster from taking place!

NBC’s official description reads like this, “As the president’s (guest star Benito Martinez) true plan comes into focus, Liz (Megan Boone) and the Task Force fight to avert disaster.”

Will Liz and the Task Force be able to successfully pull off this very dangerous-sounding mission? Or will things turn very ugly? Those are a couple of huge questions for this particular plotline. We sense that it could end with a cliffhanger set-up for season 7. We’ll have to wait and see. I expect some sort of cliffhanger in this episode so they can leave you guys begging for more.

The second spoiler scoop reveals that Red will be extremely busy, tending to a situation that involves a man that somehow has information about Red’s past! NBC notes that this meeting will take place in secret.

So, it’ll be very mysterious and intriguing. Or at least that’s how we envision it to be. NBC’s description for this scenario reads like this, “Meanwhile, Red (James Spader) meets in secret with a man who holds information about his past.”

Who is this mystery man that Red meets up with? What does this past information entail exactly? Those are the burning questions for this particular storyline. We think the mystery man will probably be who this episode is titled after, “Robert Diaz.” We’ll have to wait and see, but we don’t think it’s titled Robert Diaz for no reason at all.

NBC also released a couple of preview photos for episode 22. We take that back. The released a lot of freaking photos for episode 22! It looks like everybody gets a scene in this one. Liz is featured in a couple of the photos with Cooper. So, look for those two to have a couple of scenes together.

Red is spotted in multiple photos with Liz. He’s also spotted with Ressler and Cooper in various photos. There’s a shot of Anna in a couple of the photos. You guys can view all of the preview photos for episode 22 over on Spoiler TV’s site by Clicking Here.
