‘Legacies’ Spoilers For Season 2, October 17, 2019 Episode 2 Revealed
Hey, “Legacies” fans. We hope you guys had a blast watching tonight’s very first premiere episode 1 of this current season 2. Now that it’s all wrapped up and in the bag, it’s time to take a look at what the next, new episode 2 will have cooked up for you.
Thanks to the wonderful CW folks, we’ve got quite a few, episode 2 storyline teasers to go over with you guys. So, let’s just dive right on in.
To get things started, it’s revealed that episode 2 is labeled,”This Year Will Be Different.” It sounds like episode 2 will feature some very interesting, dramatic and intense scenes as Hope hits a collision course with her past. Landon and Josie experience tension! A new, mysterious vampire arrives. A new headmaster shows up at the school and more!
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Hope collision course situation. It turns out that Hope will definitely be determined to live a new, lonely existence. However, her latest experience will cause her to have a collision with a past that she’s been trying to escape from.
CW’s official description tells us, “Determined to move forward with her new life alone, Hope’s (Danielle Rose Russell) latest hunt leads her on a collision course with the past she’s been desperately trying to leave behind.”
What will this mysterious past turn out to be for Hope? That’s a very important question for this particular storyline. Whatever it is, it sounds like this plotline will deliver some very dramatic and intense scenes for sure.
The second spoiler teaser reveals that Landon will definitely be quite different in school and have his hands full with Josie. Apparently, Landon will have a new status as being the popular guy, and it’s going to lead to some growing frustrations with Josie!
CW’s description tells us, “On their first day back in school, Landon’s (Aria Shahghasemi) newfound status as the popular guy leads to tensions with Josie (Kaylee Bryant).”
Will Landon and Josie be able to work through this intense tensions they have? We’re not sure, but we are officially hearing that Landon and Josie’s relationship will get put to a test in episode 3. So, look out for that drama to unfold very soon.
The 3rd spoiler teaser reveals that some things just may never change between MG and Lizzie. We’re going to see MG still trying to let Lizzie know exactly how he feels about her, but his efforts will get halted by a new vampire guy on the scene.
CW’s description for that plotline reads like this, “As MG (Quincy Fouse) contemplates telling Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) how he feels about her, the arrival of a mysterious vampire puts a wrench into his plan.”
Will this new vampire ruin MG’s big plans for Lizzie forever? Well, for the immediate future, it certainly sounds like it. We’re officially hearing that Lizzie will want to know more about the new, male vampire, and she will actually ask MG to get the intel! Poor MG.
Lastly, The CW served up a 4th teaser description for episode 2. It reveals that Alaric will have a new role at the Mystic Falls High School. Meanwhile, his replacement at the Salvatore School will arrive.
CW’s description tells us,”As Alaric (Matthew Davis) gets settled into his new role at Mystic Falls High School, the students of the Salvatore School meet their new headmaster, Professor Vardemus (guest star Alexis Denisof).”
How long will this twist in the storyline play out? That’s a very important question for this particular situation. Only time will tell at this point. We do know that major tensions will build between Alaric and Professor Vardemus in episode 3 because they’re going to go head to head at one point! So, certainly get ready for that to happen.
The CW also released a couple of preview photos for episode 2. Landon and Josie are spotted in a couple of the photos. They seem to be happy and smiling in one of them. Lizzie is seen in one of the pics. MG looks quite upset in one of his snap shots.
Landon and Josie are spotted in some more serious-looking scenes. Professor Vardemus has a couple of photos too. There’s one photo that features the new vampire Sebastian.

Episode was directed by Jeff Hunt, and it was written by Thomas Brandon. CW’s press release confirmed that episode 2 is indeed scheduled to air next Thursday night, October 17, 2019 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
