‘NCIS Los Angeles’ Season 11, December 15, 2019 Episode 12 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, “NCIS: Los Angeles” fans. We are back at you today with some news that is unfortunately apart of our “bad news” series. Yep, that’s right, guys. We’ve got bad news for you again.

It turns out that NCIS: Los Angeles is currently on a short hiatus for the Fall. That means CBS will not be airing the next, new episode 12 tonight, December 15, 2019.

CBS did reveal when the new episode 12 will officially air. It’s currently scheduled to show up on Sunday night,January 5, 2020 at approximately 8 pm central standard time. So, it’s not too far off.

We’ve reported on other shows that have a much longer break than that. But anyways, be sure to mark down that very important January 5th, 2020 date and time on your TV show calendars.

So, what is CBS airing instead of “NCIS: Los Angeles” tonight? Well, according to TV Guide, CBS is airing an entertainment awards special called, “THE 42ND ANNUAL KENNEDY CENTER HONORS.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Featuring the 42nd Annual Kennedy Center Honors in Washington D.C.”

Then next Sunday night, December 22, 2019, CBS will air another special called, “THE 21ST ANNUAL A HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS WITH IDINA MENZEL” in the 8 pm central standard time slot.

If any of those specials seem remotely interesting to you, you’ll probably still want to flip on CBS during that time. If not, you will most certainly want to find something else to do or watch for the next few weeks.

We do have some new information for the next, new episode 12 of NCIS: Los Angeles. CBS served up a new press release for episode 12. We must tell you, right now, that this press release does contain spoilers for episode 12. If you don’t like spoilers, we highly recommend that you do not continue reading this article any further.

First off, it reveals that episode 12 is officially named, “Groundwork.” It sounds like episode 9 will feature some pretty interesting, possible action-filled and dramatic scenes.

In the new episode 12, a CIA officer named Veronical Stephens will take the spotlight as part of the main plotline. Apparently, an agricultural engineer that Hetty asked Veronica to bring to the United States is going to come up missing.

In light of this scary turn of events, Veronica will beg the NCIS: Los Angeles crew to give her a helping hand in finding the agricultural engineer.

CBS’ official description for episode 12 reads like this, “CIA Officer Veronica Stephens (Dina Meyer) asks the NCIS team for help when an agricultural engineer Hetty asked her to bring to the United States disappears.”

CBS also released a couple of preview photos for episode 12. They feature Kensi and Deeks in a scene together. They look pretty casual in this scene. Callen is spotted in a scene with Veronica, and it looks like they’re having a pretty serious conversation.

Sam, Callen and Deeks are spotted in some pretty intense-looking scenes with Veronica as they try to help her do what she’s trying to do. One of the scenes features them having to get their guns out and sneak around. So, expect some pretty heavy and suspenseful action in this one.
