New ‘Supernatural’ Spoilers For Season 15, January 16, 2020 Episode 9 Revealed

Hey,”Supernatural” fans. We are back to serve up some new spoiler scoops for you guys. These will be for the next, new episode in the current season 15 line up. That episode is number 9. As most of you are aware, Supernatural is currently on hiatus for the winter break, but it will be returning with the new episode 9 on January 16, 2020.

In light of that, we’re going to make sure you guys are well prepped for that episode. The lovely CW folks recently served up the official press release for episode 9, which features a few teaser descriptions.

We’re going to run those buy you guys in this spoiler session. So, with no further ado, let’s get into it.

To start this session off, The episode 9 press release let us know what the title of episode 9 is. It’s officially called,”The Trap.”

It sounds like episode 9 will feature some very interesting, possible action-filled and dramatic scenes as Sam and Eileen get hit with a very brutal truth! Dean and Castiel team up again to try and get a one-up on Chuck and more.

We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Sam and Eileen situation. It turns out that these two will not have a very good time in this episode. At some point, they are going to have to face a situation that is being described as quite brutal!

The CW’s official description tells us,”Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Eileen (guest star Shoshanna Stern) are faced with the brutal truth.”

What will this brutal truth entail exactly? That’s a major question we’ll be looking to see get answered in this episode. Whatever the case, it certainly sounds like this storyline will feature some possible bad set of events for Sam and Eileen. So, get ready for it when January 16, 2020 finally hits.

The second and last teaser description lets us know that Dean and Castiel will be trying to accomplish a seemingly impossible task in this episode. At some point, we will see them team up with each other with the goal of trying to get ahead of Chuck aka God!

The CW’s description for this Dean and Castiel plotline reads like this, “Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Cass (Misha Collins) work together in the hopes of getting a step ahead of Chuck (Guest Star Rob Benedict).

Will Dean and Sam actually be able to accomplish this daunting and seemingly unlikely goal of beating Chuck to the punch? That’s another super huge question we’ll be looking to see get answered as this storyline continues.

I suspect it would at least take Dean and Castiel more than one episode to pull that off if it’s even possible. So, more than likely, expect this to be a very ongoing plotline in this final, 20 episode season.

Also, it sounds like this storyline will feature some possible action-filled and intense scenes for you guys to look forward to. With that said, we think Supernatural will provide a very entertaining second half of its final season.

As we mentioned in a previous article, The CW also released a preview clip for episode 9. In it, Chuck is seen definitely getting the best of Sam. He shows Sam a future that most certainly doesn’t bode well for anyone he cares for.

The clips caps off with Chuck asking Sam what he thinks of the horrible future he just showed him as if he didn’t already know the answer. That part is pretty comical. You guys can view the preview clip for episode 9 over on Youtube by Clicking Here.

The episode 9 press release also revealed that Robert Singer directed the episode, and it was written by Robert Berens.

Again, The CW confirmed that episode 9 is scheduled to air on Thursday night, January 16, 2020 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
