New ‘The Rookie’ Spoilers For Season 2, March 1, 2020 Episode 12 Revealed

Hey, “The Rookie” fans. Welcome back. It’s been a long break, but the back half of season 2 finally started back up tonight with episode 11. Now that it’s officially aired and done with, We are back at you guys to bring on the next, new episode 12 spoilers.

We’ve got a couple of teaser descriptions via ABC’s official press release for episode 12. ABC also release some new preview photos for episode 12. So, we’re going to go over all of that in this spoiler session. We’ll also give you guys a link to the preview photos. Let’s get started.

First off, episode 12 is officially labeled/titled, “Now and Then.” It sounds like episode 12 will feature some semi-interesting scenes as Lucy returns to duty. Nolan takes his son’s fiance on a ride along and more.

We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with Lucy’s return to work. Yes indeedy, we will see Lucy finally make her way back to work after having been abducted. She will get some help as she eases her way back into things because Harper will step up to the plate to give her a helping hand.

ABC’s official description for this Lucy and Harper storyline reads like this, “Lucy returns to duty after her abduction ,and Harper steps in to help her through her first day back on patrol.”

How will Lucy do with her return to work? That’s the biggest question we could think of for this storyline. Whatever the case, it sounds like Lucy will get plenty of support for her return endeavor. Other than that, we don’t have much else going on with this plotline.

The second and last spoiler teaser lets us know that Nolan’s son’s fiance Abigail will be showing quite a bit of interest in becoming a police officer. In light of that, Nolan will end up taking Abigail on a ride along. So, that sounds nice of him.

ABC’s description for this Nolan and Abigail, ride-along outing reads like this, “Nolan takes his son’s fiancé, Abigail, on a ride along after showing interest in becoming a police officer.”

Will anything exciting end up happening on this ride along? Or will it be pretty routine? Those are some big questions we’ll be looking to see get answered in this episode.

It sounds like this scene could either be quite mellow or serve up some surprise drama. Given the nature of this type of show, we’re betting that there might be some surprise drama. So, be sure to prep yourselves for it when next Sunday night rolls around.

The new preview photos for episode 12 feature Nyla and Angela in a new scene together. They look pretty happy in it while they’re smiling and laughing.

The Abigail scenes with Nolan are shown in these preview photos. Abigail looks like she’s fascinated and enjoying her ride-along session. They’re spotted on the scene of an investigation in these pics.

Episode 12 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Zayne Emory as character Henry Nolan, Madeleine Coghlan as character Abigail, Daniel Lissing as character Sterling Freeman and Jeffrey D. Sams as character Dr. Solomon Lowell.

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 12 are: Nathan Fillion as character John Nolan, Mekia Cox as character Nyla Harper, Alyssa Diaz as character Angela Lopez, Richard T. Jones as character Sergeant Wade Grey, Titus Makin Jr. as character Jackson West, Melissa O’Neil as character Lucy Chen and Eric Winter as character Tim Bradford.

Episode 12 was written by Robert Bella, and it was directed by Chi-Yoon Chung. ABC’s press release confirmed that episode 12 is indeed scheduled to air next Sunday night, March 1, 2020 at approximately 9 pm central standard time. Episodes can also be viewed the next day on demand and on Hulu.
