Grey’s Anatomy Season 17, December 24, 2020 Episode 7 Delayed. Not Airing For A While

Hey, “Grey’s Anatomy” fans. We are back with some new Grey’s Anatomy info for you guys. Unfortunately, it’s not good news. Cutting right to the chase, ABC is not airing the next, new episode 7 of Grey’s Anatomy’s current season 17 tonight, December 24, 2020.

In fact, they won’t be airing it for quite some time. Let’s just say that ,tonight, is just one of many Thursday nights that you will go without seeing the new episode 7.

Here’s the deal, ABC has informed us that the new episode 7 is currently scheduled to air on March 4, 2021 in its usual 8 pm central standard time slot. So, we’re looking at about 2 and half to three months out. Definitely, be sure to mark down that very important date and time because we’re quite sure you’ll forget it if you don’t. It’s a pretty long way out.

So, what is ABC going to air in place of the next, new episode 7 of Grey’s Anatomy season 17 tonight? Well, according to the TV Guide listings, ABC is going to air “The Greatest Showman (2017).”

ABC’s description for it reads like this, “P.T. Barnum indulges his limitless imagination to create the Barnum & Bailey circus in the 1800s. Featuring musical numbers, exotic performers and daring feats, the mesmerizing spectacle takes the world by storm to become the greatest show on Earth.”

Then, next Thursday night, December 31,2020, ABC is going to air their traditional New Year’s eve special titled, “Dick Clark’s Primetime New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2021 Part 1.”

ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “Ryan Seacrest, Lucy Hale and Billy Porter host New Year’s Eve festivities in New York’s Times Square.”

Beyond that December 31, 2020 date, you guys will just have to play it by ear as to what ABC will be airing. Maybe they have another really good show in the pipeline. Who knows? We’ll have to wait and see.

If any of you guys find this alternate line of programming from ABC enticing at all, you might still want to give ABC a chance to win you over during this very long break.

If not, you will most certainly want to start making other plans as soon as you can.

At this point, we would normally tell you what’s in store for the next, new episode 7. Unfortunately, we can’t do that ,this time, because ABC has not released any promotional materials whatsoever for episode 7. Not even a title. The only thing we literally have for it is the premiere date.

Here’s what we can tell you. We have the ratings numbers for this new Grey’s Anatomy season 17. So, we’re going to tell you how your favorite show is doing business wise.

Season 17 is currently averaging 5.833 million LIVE viewers per episode and a 1.23 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The last episode 6, which aired last Thursday night, December 17,2020, managed to draw in 5.657 million LIVE viewers and get a 1.10 ratings score.

So, it seems like things are still going quite well for Grey’s Anatomy as far as the numbers go.

Again, ABC confirmed that the next,new episode 7 of Grey’s Anatomy’s current season 17 is scheduled to air on Thursday night, March 4, 2021 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
