Riverdale Season 5, April 7, 2021 Episode 11 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “Riverdale” fans. We are back on here with a new article for you guys. Unfortunately, it’s not for good reasons. It’s to inform you of some very bad news. It turns out that your favorite show Riverdale is currently on a very long, delay, break right now.
That means The CW will not be airing the next, new episode 11 of Riverdale’s current season 5 tonight, April 7, 2021. In fact, they won’t be airing it for many, many more weeks to come!
We’ve got official confirmation from The CW that they don’t intend to air the new episode 11 until Wednesday night, July 7, 2021 in its usual 7 pm central standard time slot. We’ve got notes on here saying that the July 7, 2021 date is the start of the back half of season 5.
This crazy schedule is probably due to all the filming issues the pandemic has caused. Whatever the case, you guys will have to exercise some heavy patience for the next, new episode 11 of Riverdale season 5. Just be sure to mark down that very important date and time on your TV show calendars so you don’t forget it.
So, what is The CW going to air instead of the next, new episode 11 of Riverdale’s current season 5 tonight? According to the TV Guide listings, The CW is going to debut a new series that’s based on the old Kung Fu show. It’s called Kung Fu just like the old show, but a female will be taking the lead role. Tonight’s episode is the pilot episode.
The CW’s official description for Kung Fu’s very first episode 1 reads like this, “A quarter-life crisis causes a young Chinese American woman to drop out of college and go on a life-changing journey to an isolated monastery in China. When she returns to San Francisco, she finds her hometown is overrun with crime and corruption.”
Then, next Wednesday night, April 14, 2021, The CW will air the 2nd episode of Kung Fu’s premiere season 1 titled, “Silence.”
The CW’s official description for it reads like this, “When adjusting to life back at home doesn’t go as planned, Nicky turns to Henry for help in her hunt for Zhilan. Jin looks forward to life getting back to normal.”
We presume that The CW will continue to run this new season of Kung Fu in the following weeks after the April 14, 2021 date, but you’ll need to check your local listings to get confirmation of that.
If any of you guys are interested in checking out The CW’s new Kung Fu series, you might still want to flip on The CW during this long, three-month, Riverdale break.
However, if you want nothing but new Riverdale episodes from The CW, you will definitely want to mark them off your list for that 7 pm central standard time slot until that magical July 7, 2021 date.
Spoiler Warning: We were able to track down an official preview clip for the next,new episode 11 of Riverdale’s current season 5.
It features some very intense-looking scenes that features Cheryl, Archie, Veronica, Betty, Kevin, Jughead and more in action. At one point, Archie is in a wild predicament with someone pointing a gun at him. He screams, “Don’t Shoot!”
Veronica is seen saying, “What the hell just happened” in one of her scenes. Kevin is seen saying, “Now, I’m worried.” Jughead is seen laid out and unconscious. So, there’s definitely going to be some major drama to look forward to when episode 11 does finally air in July 2021. Again, The CW confirmed that the next, new episode 11 of Riverdale’s current season 5 is scheduled to finally air on Wednesday night, July 7, 2021 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
