General Hospital April 19, 2021 Episode Delayed. It Didn’t Air Today
Hey, “General Hospital” fans. Welcome to another Monday. We hope your weekend went well, especially condsidering the bad news we’re about to have to tell you. It turns out that ABC did not air the new April 19, 2021 installment of General hospital today.
They preempted it to deliver up LIVE coverage of this Derek Chauvin trial. For those of you who don’t know, Derek Chauvin was the former police officer who killed George Floyd back in the summer of 2020 by pressing his knee in his throat. It was just an awful thing to see.
Currently, we’re not sure if this court trial will seep over in to tomorrow. We did find some promising news from General Hospital’s official Twitter page. Today, they posted the following message: “Due to ongoing breaking news coverage, today’s scheduled episode of General Hospital will now air tomorrow. #GH” You guys can view that tweet over on Twitter by Clicking Here.
Hopefully, what they had to say is true and not just misplaced optimism. We’ll see. I believe we just heard from the prosecution team today. I’m not sure when the defense team will chime in or if the networks will try to give them LIVE coverage as well. Yeah, ABC wasn’t the only network who covered this case. CBS and NBC chimed also. So, no one got their soap opera fix today.

The Prosecution and Defense both gave closing arguments on Monday the 19th. After that, the case went to the Jury for deliberation. It only took them 11 hours to find that freak Guilty on all 3 counts. Now that’s real life drama.
