Big Sky Season 2, December 23, 2021 Episode 9 Delayed. Not Airing For A While

Hey, “Big Sky” fans. Unfortunately, we have some very bad news for you guys in this article. We have to inform you that Big Sky is currently being delayed for two, whole months! That means ABC will most definitely not air the next, new episode 9 of Big Sky’s current season 2 tonight, December 23, 2021, and for many weeks after that.

ABC did let us know that they plan to finally debut the new episode 9 on Thursday night, February 24, 2022 in its usual, 9 pm central standard times lot. So, definitely make sure that very important date and time doesn’t escape your memory.

We did find out what ABC will be airing instead of the next, new episode 9 of Big Sky’s current season 2 over the next, two weeks. According to the TV Guide listings, ABC is going to air a Christmas special tonight called, “CMA Country Christmas.”

ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “Legendary acts and country music stars perform Christmas classics and festive collaborations; scheduled performers include Jimmie Allen, Louis York, The Shindellas, Breland, Brett Eldredge, Lady A, Pistol Annies, Carrie Underwood and Lainey Wilson.”

Next, Thursday night, December 30, 2021, ABC will air a repeat episode of, “Home Economics” in the 9 pm central standard time slot. It will be the 8th episode of its season 2 titled, “Two Thousand Pounds of Sand, $240.”

ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “Tom, Sarah and Connor are determined to prove that they can host a successful Thanksgiving dinner. Denise has some sibling drama when her sister joins the Hayworth family celebration.”

In the 9:30 pm central standard time slot, ABC is going to air another repeat episode of, “Home Economics.” It will be the 9th episode of its season 2 titled, “Secret Santa Gift, $25 Limit.”

ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “As Christmas approaches, Tom finally receives his first advance check from the Sofia Salazar book, leaving him and Marina to decide what to do with the money. Sarah receives an extravagant gift from the parents at her new school.”

After the December 30, 2021 date, you guys will need to check your local listings to see what ABC has planned out for Thursday nights during this really long, extended delay.

If any of that alternate line of programming sounds good to any of you guys, you might still want to hit up ABC tonight to check it out. If the alternate line of programming is unsatisfactory, you will definitely want to find something else to do or watch during this extended delay.

In the new preview clip, everyone is seen mourning the death of Cassie’s father. Jenny is seen telling Cassie,”Whatever you need to do, I got your back.” Cassie says, “Whoever did this, I’m gonna get them.” So, that definitely looks like it’ll be a mighty intense and dramatic storyline. Again, ABC confirmed that the next, new episode 9 of Big Sky’s current season 2 is scheduled to finally make its way to the air on Thursday night, February 24, 2022 at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
