Chicago Med Season 8 December 14, 2022 Episode 10 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “Chicago Med” fans. Unfortunately, it’s one of those times again where we have to give you some very bad news. It turns out that new episodes of your favorite NBC, medical drama Chicago Med are currently being delayed for about three weeks. That means NBC is not going to air the next, new episode 10 of Chicago Med’s current season 8 tonight, December 14, 2022 and for the rest of December 2022.
That’s right, guys. NBC has let us know that the new episode 10 will not see the light of day until Wednesday night, January 4, 2023. During that time, it will keep its same 7 pm central standard time slot. So, be sure to definitely not forget that very important date and time.
We did find out what NBC is going to air in Chicago Med’s time slot tonight and next Wednesday night. According to the TV guide listings, NBC is going to air a new, 2-hour long Saturday Night Live Christmas special titled, “A Saturday Night Live Christmas Special.”
NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “A star-studded collection of “Saturday Night Live’s” hilarious Christmas-themed sketches from various seasons, including D… in a Box, Schweddy Balls, Elf on the Shelf, A Christmas Carol and many more.”
Next Wednesday night, December 21, 2022, NBC is going to air a Dolly Parton Christmas special called, “Dolly Parton’s Mountain Magic Christmas.” NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “Inspired by the hopeful spirit of the Great Smoky Mountains, Dolly Parton returns to Dollywood to star in a new holiday musical with special guests Jimmy Fallon, Willie Nelson, Billy Ray Cyrus, Jimmie Allen, Zach Williams, Miley Cyrus and many more.”
After the December 21, 2022 date, you guys will need to check your local listings to see what NBC has in store for the rest of this 3-week delay period.
If that alternate line of programming is enticing at all to any of you, you might still want to keep NBC on your Wednesday night, primetime watchlist during this 3-week delay. If you only want to see brand new episodes of Chicago Med, you will definitely want to skip NBC on Wednesday nights until January 4, 2023.

It features some very dramatic, suspenseful and emotional scenes with a guy worrying that he’s about to die. A woman is shedding some tears in another scene and more. Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 10 of Chicago Med’s current season 8 is scheduled to finally arrive on Wednesday night, January 4, 2023 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
