New Saturday Night LIVE April 1, 2023 Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “Saturday Night LIVE” fans. We’ve got some great news for you guys ,today, because NBC is going to finally start back airing brand new episodes of Saturday Night LIVE tonight, April 1, 2023. Nope, that is not an April Fool’s joke. It’s really happening, guys.
According to the TV guide listings, tonight’s new episode will be the 16th installment of Saturday Night Live’s current season 48, and we’re here to give you a brief preview of what you can expect to see in tonight’s new episode.
In tonight’s new, April 1, 2023 edition of Saturday Night LIVE, you guys are going to see 33 year old American writer, producer, actress and comedian Quinta Brunson show up to do some hosting duties. Quinta is best known for creating, executive producing, co-writing and starring in the ABC comedy series Abbott Elementary. Brunson gained prominence for her self-produced Instagram series titled, “Girl Who Has Never Been on a Nice Date.”
A brief description of Abbot Elementary reads like this, “A group of dedicated, passionate teachers — and a slightly tone-deaf principal find themselves thrown together in a Philadelphia public school where, despite the odds stacked against them, they are determined to help their students succeed in life.” Quinta portrays character Janine Teagues on the show.
NBC’s official description for Quinta Brunson’s Saturday Night LIVE appearance reads like this, “Saturday Night Live” returns April 1 with Emmy Award winner Quinta Brunson making her hosting debut. Brunson is the creator, executive producer, writer and star of ABC’s “Abbott Elementary.”
The second and last description for tonight’s new, April 1, 2023 episode lets us know that 25 year old American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer Lil Yachty is going to show up to deliver a musical performance for you guys.
Lil Yachty has released 5 studio albums throughout his career. They’re titled, “Teenage Emotions,” “Lil Boat 2,” “Nuthin’ 2 Prove,” “Lil Boat 3” and “Let’s Start Here.” Let’s Start Here is his latest one. It released on January 27, 2023. So, we would not be surprised at all if he performed some songs from that album tonight.
NBC’s official description for Lil Yachty’s Saturday Night LIVE appearance tonight reads like this, “Lil Yachty will perform as musical guest for the first time. His latest album, “Let’s Start Here,” debuted at #1 on Billboard’s top rock and alternative charts.”
NBC’s press release confirmed that Saturday Night LIVE will be brand new tonight, April 1, 2023, and it’s scheduled to hit the air at approximately 10:29 pm central standard time.
