On TV Tonight June 9, 2023 Schedule & Previews Revealed
Hey, TV fans. Happy Friday. We’re back to let you know what will be airing tonight, June 9, 2023 on the primetime schedule for the major TV networks: NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX. Let’s get to it.
ABC is airing a LIVE NBA countdown show and LIVE 2023 NBA Finals Basketball Game.
ABC’s official description for the LIVE NBA Countdown show reads like this: “Bold opinions, discussion and debate centered on the top storylines from around the league. Mike Greenberg hosts this pregame show with analysts Stepen A. Smith, Jalen Rose and Michael Wilbon.” It’s airing from 7pm to 7:30pm central standard time.
ABC’s official description for the LIVE, 2023 NBA Finals game reads like this, “Denver Nuggets at Miami Heat LIVE. The Heat try to draw even with Nikola Jokic’s Nuggets in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. Jokic became the first player with a 30-point, 20-rebound, 10-assist triple-double in the Finals and Jamal Murray added 34 points in Denver’s 109-94 triumph in Game 3.” It’s airing from 7:30pm to 10pm central standard time.
CBS is airing repeat episodes of S.W.A.T., Fire Country and Blue Bloods.
The S.W.A.T. repeat will be episode 3 of season 6 titled, “Woah Black Betty.” CBS’ official description for it: “When the team’s armored vehicle is stolen, they must stop the vehicle from being used in a potential terrorist attack. Hondo and Nischelle prepare for their baby’s gender reveal party.” It’s airing from 7pm to 8pm central standard time.
The Fire Country repeat will be episode 12 of season 1 titled, “Two Pink Lines.” CBS’ official description for it: “Bode and his fellow prison inmate firefighters band together with the civilian station 42 crew to battle a monstrous fire that erupts after a plane crash. The crews welcome a new member to the family.” It’s airing from 8pm to 9pm central standard time.
The Blue Bloods repeat will be episode 6 of season 13 titled, “On Dangerous Ground.” CBS’official description for it: “Danny and Jamie clash over a gang-related shooting; Erin and Anthony search for answers when a lawyer in their office jeopardizes a case involving Erin’s nephew. Frank grows concerned when he’s not invited to speak at a policing forum.” It’s airing from 9pm to 10pm central standard time.
NBC is airing a repeat episode of Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge, and a new episode of Dateline NBC.
The Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge repeat is episode 2 of season 1 titled, “Monster Bug vs. Buckaroo.” NBC’s official description for it: “Superfans Sheilah Spencir and Kevin Lister face off in transforming an ordinary vehicle into an extraordinary Hot Wheels™ showstopper, inspired by their stories, interests and pop culture touchstones. The new Dateline NBC episode is episode 34 of season 31 titled, “Bad Intentions.” NBC’s official description for it: “After a district attorney and his wife are murdered in the same Texas town where a prosecutor was gunned down two months earlier, local law enforcement fears they may be in the sights of a serial killer.” It’s airing from 8pm to 10pm central standard time.
FOX is airing a new, LIVE WWE Friday Night Smackdown episode.
The new, LIVE WWE Friday Night SmackDown episode is episode 23 of season 25. FOX’s official description for it: “The Superstars of World Wrestling Entertainment do battle in elaborate, long-running rivalries in a weekly two-hour showdown.” It’s airing from 7pm to 9pm central standard time.
