48 Hours June 10, 2023 Episode Not New. It’s A Repeat
Hey, “48 Hours” fans. We’re back in action to inform you of some not-so-great news. Yep, it turns out that CBS is not going to air a new episode of 48 Hours tonight, June 10, 2023. Nope, instead, they’re going to serve up a repeat episode of 48 hours. Some of you may have not seen this repeat episode. If that’s the case, it could still be like a new episode for you. So, we do have some preview information for it.
CBS served up a new, official press release for tonight’s repeat episode of 48 Hours. So, we’re going to certainly use it for this preview session. Let’s get to it.
For starters, CBS let us know that they’re re-airing the episode that originally aired way back on September 17, 2022. It’s officially titled, “The Shooting of Lauren Kanarek.”
In this repeat episode, the 48 hours team took a deep look at a story about a former Olympic equestrian and trainer named Michael Barisone. He was accused of murdering his former student along with her boyfriend, but he got acquitted of those charges. In this episode, Michael Barisone sits down with the 48 Hours team and gives an interview for the very first time since being acquitted of the murder charges.
CBS’ official description for this repeat episode of 48 Hours reads like this, “Michael Barisone, a former Olympic equestrian and trainer, speaks out in his first television interview since being acquitted of attempted murder of a former student and her boyfriend in an encore of 48 HOURS: “The Shooting of Lauren Kanarek.” An alternate description tells us, “Contributor Nikki Battiste goes inside the case against Barisone.”
CBS’ press release confirmed that 48 Hours will be a repeat episode tonight, June 10, 2023, and it’s scheduled to arrive on your TV screens, starting at approximately 9 pm central standard time. It will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
