48 hours September 2, 2023 Episode Not Airing Tonight Due To LIVE Football Coverage
Hey, “48 hours” fans. Unfortunately, we have some super bad news for you guys. The folks over at CBS won’t have a new or repeat episode of 48 hours for you guys tonight, September 2, 2023. That’s right, guys. CBS has some other plans for their primetime slots tonight, and they do not involve any 48 Hours episodes.
No,no, no. Instead, we’re going to see CBS devote their entire Saturday night, primetime line up to providing LIVE coverage of a college football game featuring the Texas Tech Red Raiders versus the Wyoming Cowboys.
CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “College Football Texas Tech at Wyoming LIVE. Wyoming and Texas Tech tangle at War Memorial Stadium, the highest-elevated FBS venue at 7,215 feet. The programs haven’t met since 1992. Wyoming junior linebacker Easton Gibbs was named the Mountain West Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.”
Their coverage for this college football game is going to start at approximately 6:30 pm central standard time and last all the way until 10 pm central standard time.
If any of you guys also happen to be college football fans by any chance, you might still want to flip on CBS tonight to check out this game. If you are not a college football fan and have no desire to watch any football games, you will certainly want to make some alternate plans tonight during that time.
Again, it’s been confirmed by the TV guide listings that CBS will not be airing any new or repeat episodes of 48 Hours tonight, September 2, 2023 due to their LIVE coverage of a college football game.
