New 48 Hours December 9, 2023 Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “48 Hours” fans. We’re back in action to let you know that another new episode of 48 Hours will be hitting the air tonight, December 9, 2023. That’s right, guys. CBS is going to serve up the next, new episode 11 of 48 Hours’ current season 37 tonight, and we’ve got some new preview information for it.
CBS did indeed put out an official press release for tonight’s new, December 9, 2023 episode 11. So, we will certainly dip into it for this preview session. Let’s get to it.
For starters, there is an official title for tonight’s new, December 9, 2023 episode 11 of 48 Hours season 37. It’s called,”Andreen McDonald: A Millionaire Vanishes.”
In tonight’s new, December 9, 2023 episode 11, the 48 Hours team will take a deep look at a story about a San Antonio, Texas woman named Andreen Mcdonald. She was a millionaire business owner before she went missing all of a sudden on March 1, 2019. When she didn’t show up for work, her employees called the gym that she usually goes to in the mornings, and they found out she never showed up there either. That definitely raised some heavy red flags, and the intense investigation to find out what happened to her was on from there.
Andreen was married to a man named Andre McDonald, and they had a seemingly wonderful life. During the investigation, investigator Frank Stubbs told 48 Hours correspondent Peter Van Sant that he searched their home and “found there was blood on the wall in an area that was kind of odd, there was blood and hair on a light switch.”
Andre told the investigators that he last saw Andreen the night before. The day after Andreen was reported missing, the investigators found newly purchased items inside one of the Andre McDonald’s cars that were not there during their initial search. These items included a shovel and an ax. Also, in a trash can, there was some clothing that appeared to belong to Andre McDonald.
Stubbs said, “We found blood on the pocket of the jeans.” The investigators had suspicions about Andre McDonald. However without a body, none of the evidence proved that a murder happened.
So, a major search for Andreen McDonald’s body took place for months. Finally, 133 days later in July of 2019, a local farmer made a horrific discovery, which was a human skull. 48 hours after that, Andre McDonald was arrested for Andreen’s murder. He pleaded not guilty to the charge. During his trial in early 2023, he said he did have a fight with Andreen and made a shocking claim of self defense.
CBS’ official description for tonight’s new, December 9, 2023 episode 11 of 48 Hours season 37 reads like this, “Millionaire business owner Andreen McDonald was known for her strict workout regimen. On the morning of March 1, 2019, when she didn’t show up for work, her employees called the gym, which was her usual first stop in her morning routine.
They found out she never showed up there either, which raised red flags. What happened to the businesswoman, wife and mother? Correspondent Peter Van Sant reports on 48 HOURS: “Andreen McDonald: A Millionaire Vanishes.”
An alternate description tells us, “A WOMAN WHO TURNED HER ASSISTED LIVING BUSINESS INTO A MILLION-DOLLAR COMPANY VANISHED – WHEN HER HUSBAND IS CHARGED WITH HER MURDER, HIS UNUSUAL SELF DEFENSE RAISES CONCERN.”
CBS’ press release confirmed that the next, new episode 11 of 48 Hours’ current season 37 is indeed scheduled to hit the air tonight, December 9, 2023, starting at approximately 9 pm central standard time. It will also be available for streaming on Paramount+. Tonight’s new episode will be a 1-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 10 pm central standard time.
