Saturday Night LIVE June 24, 2023 Episode Not New. It’s A Repeat. Preview Revealed
Hey, “Saturday Night LIVE” fans. Unfortunately, we are back on here today to let you know that you won’t be getting a new episode of Saturday Night LIVE once again tonight, June 24, 2023. Yep,the WGA writers strike is still very much in effect. So, NBC is forced to have to air repeat episodes of Saturday Night LIVE.
As we previously reported, the Saturday Night LIVE crew actually decided to just shut down production until the Fall 2023. So, it’s definitely a wrap for new Saturday Night LIVE episodes until then. This writers strike started back on May 2, 2023. So, we are approaching the 2-month mark with no resolution in sight.
With all that said, we were able to find out which repeat episode of Saturday Night LIVE NBC is going to serve up tonight. They’re going to re-air the episode that originally aired way back on October 15, 2022. It featured 28 year old American rapper and singer Megan Thee Stallion showing to not only take over the hosting duties, but to also deliver the musical performances.
Megan Thee Stallion is originally from Houston, Texas, and she first garnered attention when videos of her freestyling became popular on social media platforms like Instagram. She’s released two studio albums since 2020. They’re titled, “Good News” and “Traumazine.” Traumazine was just released back in August of 2022. So, we’re pretty sure she was there to promote it at the time.
Anyways, if any of you guys happened to have missed this particular repeat episode of Saturday Night LIVE when it originally aired, you might still want to flip on NBC tonight to check it out. If you did see this repeat episode during its original airing and have no desire to watch it again, you will certainly want to make some alternate plans for tonight if you haven’t already.
Again, it’s been confirmed by TV Guide that Saturday Night LIVE will be a repeat episode again tonight, June 24, 2023, and it’s scheduled to hit your TV sets, starting at approximately 10:29 pm central standard time.
