60 Minutes July 16, 2023 Episode Not New. It’s A Repeat. Preview Revealed

Hey, “60 Minutes” fans. We hope your weekend is going well. We are back in your faces on this Sunday afternoon to inform you that the folks over at CBS will be serving up another episode of 60 Minutes tonight, July 16, 2023. However, this will not be a new episode. No, no, no. They’re going to give you an episode that features segments that were previously aired in past episodes.

Some of you guys may not have seen these particular segments. So, you might still want to tune in for this one. We’ve got some new preview information for it to help you determine if that’s going to be the option for you tonight. CBS served up an official press release that reveals the segments they’re going to re-air in tonight’s, July 16, 2023 repeat installment. So, we’re going to certainly tell you what those are right now. Let’s go.

The first description for tonight, July 16, 2023 repeat episode reveals that CBS is going to re-air a segment titled,”FEELING OF FEELING.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “60 MINUTES explores advancements in artificial prosthetics technology that can now restore a sense of touch. Scott Pelley speaks with volunteers of experimental research who underwent surgery to advance this breakthrough technology.”

The second and last description for tonight’s July 16, 2023 repeat episode lets us know that CBS is going to re-air a segment titled, “THE GIRLS OF SOLA.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Since U.S. troops withdrew from Afghanistan and the country fell to the Taliban, Afghan girls have been barred from school beyond 6th grade.

Lesley Stahl travels to meet a group of Afghan girls who are continuing their education in an unlikely place, the African nation of Rwanda. The girls are students of a school called SOLA, led by a remarkable Afghan woman whose commitment to educating girls began under the first Taliban regime, when she attended a secret school disguised as a boy.

SOLA, Afghanistan’s first boarding school for girls, managed to evacuate all its students and staff after the Taliban takeover, making the girls of SOLA among the only Afghan middle school and high school girls in the world today with access to a formal education.”

If any of you guys happened to have missed these particular segments of 60 Minutes when they originally aired, you might still want to flip on CBS tonight to check them out. If you did see these segments the first time they aired, and you have absolutely no desire to watch them again, you will certainly want to get some alternate plans lined up for tonight at that time as quickly as you can.

CBS’ press release confirmed that 60 Minutes will be a repeat episode again tonight, July 16, 2023, and it’s due to hit your TV screens, starting at approximately 6 pm central standard time.
