Saturday Night LIVE July 15, 2023 Episode Not New. It’s A Repeat. Preview Revealed
Hey, “Saturday Night LIVE” fans. We’re back to let you know that the people over at NBC will unfortunately have to air another repeat episode of Saturday Night LIVE again tonight, July 15, 2023. That’s right, guys. As we previously reported, the Saturday Night LIVE crew decided to officially shut down production until the Fall 2023 way back in May 2023 due to the ongoing WGA writers strike.
It started on May 2, 2023, and it is still going very strong. In fact, it is getting even more serious as the actors are now joining in with the writers on their strike. Yep, the SAG-AFTRA actors union is now going on strike with the WGA writers.
That means if there are any scripts that are already completed by the writers, the studios won’t have any actors to read the lines for them, making them totally dependent on reality shows and other productions that don’t need SAG-AFTRA actors and WGA writers.
The folks over at CNBC were one of the many news outlets that reported this very serious new development in the strike. Hopefully, it will finally get the studios to give the writers what they want and end this thing. We’ll see.
In the meantime, we did track down the Saturday Night LIVE repeat episode that NBC is going to air tonight, July 15, 2023. It originally aired back on December 17, 2022. It featured 31 year old American Actor Austin Butler showing up to do the hosting duties that night. Also, 35 year old American rapper, singer, songwriter, flutist and actress Lizzo showed up to do some musical performances.
If any of you guys happened to have missed that particular repeat episode of Saturday Night LIVE, you might still want to flip on NBC tonight to check it out. If you did see that repeat episode when it originally hit the air, and you have absolutely no desire to see it again, you will most certainly want to make some alternate plans for tonight at your earliest convenience.
Again, NBC confirmed that Saturday Night LIVE will be a repeat episode again tonight,July 15, 2023, and it’s scheduled to hit your TV screens, starting at approximately 10:29 pm central standard time.
