New WWE Friday Night Smackdown September 1, 2023 Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “WWE Friday Night Smackdown LIVE” fans. It’s that time of the week again. The folks over at FOX will be serving up another brand new episode of WWE Friday Night Smackdown LIVE tonight, September 1, 2023. That’s right, guys. tonight’s new episode will be the 35th episode of WWE Smackdown’s current season 25, and we’ve got some new preview information for it to run by you guys.
The WWE put out an official press release for tonight’s new, September 1, 2023 episode 35. So, we will certainly reference it for this preview session. Let’s get into it.
The first description for tonight’s new, September 1, 2023 episode 35 reveals that wrestling legend John Cena will make another return visit to the show tonight. WWE’s official description for John Cena’s return reads like this, “The Greatest of All Time John Cena is returning at SmackDown.”
The second description reveals that Jimmy Uso is going to make a return to the show for the first time since his brother Jey Uso superkicked him and left the WWE.
The WWE’s description for Jimmy Uso’s return tonight reads like this,”After Jey Uso superkicked him and abruptly left WWE, Jimmy Uso returns to the blue brand to discuss the ongoing turmoil within his family.” An alternate description tells us, “Jimmy Uso returns to SmackDown after Jey Uso’s departure.”
The 3rd description reveals that Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar will show up to wrestle Austin Theory and Grayson Waller in a tag team match.
FOX’s description for this tag team match reads like this, “One night before Rey Mysterio attempts to defend his United States Championship against Austin Theory at WWE Payback, The Legendary Luchador and his LWO protégé Santos Escobar will take on the combination of former titleholder Theory and the outspoken Grayson Waller.”
The 4th and final description for tonight’s new, September 1, 2023 episode 35 lets us know that LA Knight will end up having another face-off session with his current rival The Miz at some point.
FOX’s description for this LA Knight and Miz confrontation reads like this, “LA Knight comes face-to-face with The Miz ahead of WWE Payback.”
Again, WWE and FOX confirmed that Friday Night Smackdown is brand new and LIVE again tonight, September 1, 2023, and it’s scheduled to hit your TV screens, starting at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
