MasterChef Season 13 September 20, 2023 Episodes Are The Finale. Season 14 Is Happening
Hey, “MasterChef” fans. We hope you guys totally enjoyed tonight’s new episodes 19 and 20 of MasterChef season 13, especially since they were indeed the very last ones. That’s right, guys. Season 13 did wrap up tonight. So, it will be quite some time before you get to see another new episode of MasterChef. However, we do have some excellent news for you guys.
According to a recent press release from FOX, they have most certainly renewed MasterChef for a brand new season 14! That’s right, guys. Your favorite reality, cooking show will be back to deliver another new season of episodes at some point in the future. We’re guessing it’ll be next summer sometime, but with this whole actors and writers strike mess going on, FOX might decide to debut season 14 earlier than usual. We’ll have to wait and see.
According to FOX’s press release site Foxflash.com, FOX actually decided to renew MasterChef for a new season 14 back on August 9, 2023. So, they definitely gave it an early renewal with no doubts.
During the season 14 renewal announcement, Allison Wallach who is the President of Unscripted Programming for FOX delivered a very positive statement about MasterChef saying, “MasterChef is a beloved staple of the FOX brand. Its impressive performance this Summer and tonight’s 250th episode are a testament to the strength, distinction and longevity of this very special show.
Of course, our incredible partner, Gordon Ramsay, together with Aarón Sánchez, Joe Bastianich and Endemol Shine North America, continue to make MasterChef the massive success it is and we are proud to renew it for its 14th season.”
According to the LIVE Nielsen ratings, MasterChef season 13 averaged 2.060 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.36 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 18 , which aired last Wednesday night, managed to draw in 2.047 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.38 ratings score.
The most-viewed episode was episode 3 with 2.282 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was the premiere episode 1 with 1.633 million LIVE viewers.
The highest-rated episodes were episodes 4 and 5. They tied for first place with a 0.42 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 10 with a 0.32 ratings score.
