Hey, “Jimmy Kimmel LIVE” fans. Unfortunately, we are back on here to tell you that the folks over at ABC are being forced to have to air another week of Jimmy Kimmel LIVE repeat episodes all this week, September 25-29, 2023 due to the ongoing WGA writers strike.

However, we do have some really great news for you guys in regards to the not-too-distant future. According to the most recent reports about the WGA writers strike is that they did finally reach a tentative 3-year agreement with the studios during their 3-day round of negotiations last week.

According to the folks over at Deadline.com, The WGA writers union and the studios made a joint statement saying, “We have reached a tentative agreement on a new 2023 MBA, which is to say an agreement in principle on all deal points, subject to drafting final contract language.”

So, it won’t be too much longer before ABC can finally run new Jimmy Kimmel LIVE episodes. We know all the late night talk shows will be the first ones to be able to go back LIVE since they run a show nearly everyday. The actor’s strike will still need to get cleared up before the scripted TV shows can start filming again. After that, there’s still a build up time. So, this strike has created quite a mess indeed.

With all that said, we do have an official press release from ABC, which reveals all the repeat episodes of Jimmy Kimmel LIVE they’re airing this week. So, we’re going to tell you what those are right now. Let’s go.

Tonight, September 25, 2023, ABC is going to re-air the episode that originally aired back on January 25, 2023. It featured appearances from actor/comedian Eddie Murphy promoting “You People.” D’Arcy Carden promoting “Shotgun Wedding.” Musical Guest Hailey Whitters.

On Tuesday night, September 26, 2023, ABC is going to re-air the episode that originally aired back on January 15, 2020. It featured appearances from Oscars® 2020 nominee Charlize Theron promoting “Bombshell.” Brian Cox promoting “Succession.” Stand up comedy with Todd Glass.

On Wednesday night, September 27, 2023, ABC is going to re-air the episode that originally aired back on February 24, 2020. It featured appearances from actress Gwyneth Paltrow promoting “The Goop Lab” and Congressman Adam Schiff.

On Thursday night, September 28, 2023, ABC is going to re-air the episode that originally aired back on October 13, 2022. It featured appearances from: actor George Clooney and Julia Roberts promoting “Ticket to Paradise.” Musical Guest Omar Apollo.

On Friday night, September 29, 2023, ABC is going to re-air the episode that originally aired back on February 11, 2020. It featured appearances from: Amy Poehler promoting “Duncanville.” David Sedaris promoting “Calypso.” Musical Guest SuperM.

If any of you guys happened to have missed any of those repeat episodes of Jimmy Kimmel LIVE when they originally aired, you might still want to flip on ABC during the late nights this week. If you did already see these repeat episodes and have no desire to watch them again, you will certainly want to make some alternate late night plans this week.

Again, ABC’s press release confirmed that Jimmy Kimmel LIVE will be repeat episodes again all this week, September 25-29,2023, and they’re all scheduled to show up on your TV sets, starting at approximately 10:35 pm central standard time.
