Dancing With The Stars October 10, 2023 Eliminated Tyson Beckford & Jenna (Recap)

Hey, “Dancing With The Stars” fans. Tonight, October 10, 2023, another new performances/results episode of Dancing With The Stars current season 32 did indeed hit the air. Tonight’s theme was Motown. So, all the couples danced to only Motown songs. The judges: Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli were on hand again along with guest judge Michael Strahan from Good Morning America.

Barry Williams and Peta Murgatroyd kicked off tonight’s performances with a Tango number. Afterwards, Derek said, “This was a strong tango with fantastic awareness of timing, but you need to work on your frame.” Michael said, “You were like a matador. You took control.” Bruno said, “I didn’t see any mistakes at all, but your frame dropped.” Carrie Ann said,”You do better in hold, and you sparkle when you dance, but I noticed a few mistakes.”

Carrie Ann gave Barry and Peta a 6 score, Derek a 6, Michael a 7, Bruno a 6 for a total 25 points out of a possible 40 points.

Lele Pons and Brandon Armstrong performed a Cha Cha dance. Afterwards, Michael said, “It was sexy, but strong and smooth.” Bruno said, “Your performance instincts are spot-on, but you lost balance a couple of times. You still need to control it a little bit more.” Carrie Ann said, “You attack the dance, but you lose control.” Derek said, “It was shaky. You need to tighten up your lower half.”

Carrie Ann gave Lele and Brandon a 7 score, Derek a 6, Michael a 7, Bruno a 7 for a total of 27 points.

Mauricio Umansky and Emma Slater served up a Foxtrot routine. Afterwards, Bruno said,”I respect the amount of work he put into it. You kept your frame, but your dancing isn’t entirely there.” Carrie Ann said, “It was amazing and smooth. It was jam-packed and suave.” Derek said, “I thought it was so much better than last week. There’s still work to be done on frame, footwork, and gliding across the floor.” Michael said, “I congratulate you for getting out of your head after your struggles last week.”

Carrie Ann gave Mauricio and Emma a 7 score, Derek a 5, Michael a 6, Bruno a 5 for a total of 23 points.

Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach delivered a Jive routine. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, “It was brilliant. You were on fire. You were like a new man.” Derek said,”I loved the expressiveness of your face, like a real-life emoji. A fantastic jive.” Michael said, “You looked natural out and there, and you looked like you were having fun. You could dance on hot coals and not burn your feet.” Bruno said, “It was fast, quick and precise. You set the scene, like watching a scene from a movie.”

Carrie Ann gave Jason and Daniella a 9 score, Derek an 8, Michael a 9, Bruno an 8 for a total 24 points.

Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber served up a Foxtrot dance. Afterwards, Derek said, “It took you too long to get into the dance, and your shoulders are too high.” Michael said, “You continue to climb the mountain.” Bruno said, “You sustained the performance despite a few rough patches.” Carrie Ann said, “I like the confidence you brought, and you’re on your way, but I agree with the other criticisms.”

Carrie Ann gave Alyson a 6 score, Derek a 6, Michael a 6, Bruno a 6 for a total of 24 points

Tyson Beckford and Jenna Johnson served up a Foxtrot dance. Afterwards, Michael said, “I noticed that it wasn’t as smooth as you wanted it to be, but you should keep doing what you’re doing.” Bruno said, “Your butt stuck out, and you stumbled a few times.” Carrie Ann said, “You’re a work in progress, but you’re connecting with the audience and with Jenna.” Derek said, “You need to work on your frame, but you should keep your spirit.”

Carrie Ann gave Tyson and Jenna a 5 score, Derek a 5, Michael a 5, Bruno a 5 for a total of 20 points.

Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev danced a Foxtrot number. Afterwards, Bruno said, “This was a gold-standard foxtrot because you made it look easy.” Carrie Ann said, “You took my breath away with more pizzazz than before.” Derek said, “It was gorgeous, but you need to work on on your arm placement.” Michael said, “It was smooth.”

Carrie Ann gave Lawson and Artem an 8 score, Derek an 8, Michael an 8, Bruno an 8 for a total of 32 points.

Mira Sorvino and Gleb Savchenko danced a Rumba routine. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, “I don’t think you sustained the character of the dance, but your leg line is beautiful.” Derek said, “You everything it takes, but you need more focus to draw us in.” Michael said, “It was sexy, seductive, satisfying and sensational.” Bruno said, “I liked it, but you could have brought more J Lo to your hips.”

Carrie Ann gave Mira a 6 score, Derek a 6, Michael a 7, Bruno a 7 for a total of 26 points.

Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov did a Quickstep routine. Afterwards, Derek said, “It looked effortless, but there was too much of a gap between you and your partner in hold.” Michael said, “I liked that you used the entire floor, and your facial expression was joyous.” Bruno said, “I appreciated the classic Hollywood style. It was a treat.” Carrie Ann said, “You needed polish last week.” Then, Carrie Ann gave her a hug.

Carrie Ann gave Ariana a 9 score, Derek an 8, Michael a 9, Bruno an 8 for a total of 34 points.

Adrian Peterson and Britt Stewart delivered a Quickstep dance. Afterwards, Michael said, “It was graceful and impressive. I love watching Adrian push himself.” Bruno said, “I thought you were going to be like a tank, but you were much lighter on your feet than I thought you would be.” Carrie Ann said, “I see improvement ,and I see you taking the notes, but your frame had problems.” Derek said, “This was your best dance. However, some of the mechanics weren’t there.”

Carrie Ann gave Adrian and Britt a 5 score, Derek a 5, Michael a 6, Bruno a 6 for a total of 22 points.

Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold danced a Foxtrot number. Afterwards, Bruno said, “There was more content, and you took good care of your partner, but you need more musicality.” Carrie Ann said, “I was impressed. There was some poetry to the way you were moving. However, I agree that you need to work on your musicality.”

Derek said, “I can sense you getting a feel for dancing, and you have good chemistry, but your frame was nonexistent, and your timing was off.” Michael said,”You brought your hips out of the ice age. You had a lot of elegance.”

Carrie Ann gave Harry and Rylee a 6 score, Derek a 5, Michael a 7, Bruno a 6 for a total of 24 points.

Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy wrapped up tonight’s performances with a Foxtrot routine. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, “I was impressed by the body contact in hold, but there was a bit of a mess-up in there.” Derek said,”That was a beautiful display of elegance and grace with charm, fun and charisma.” Michael said,”It looked effortless.” Bruno said, “The quality of the movement and musicality was excellent, like riding the crest of a wave.”

Carrie Ann gave Xochitl an 8 score, Derek an 8, Michael an 8, Bruno an 8 for a total of 32 points.

After all of that, they served up the results from America’s LIVE voting tonight. All the couples turned out to be safe except for Tyson Beckford & Jenna Johnson, Harry Jowsey & Rylee Arnold and Alyson Hannigan & Sasha Farber. They landed in the bottom three. Then, they revealed that Tyson Beckford & Jenna Johnson got the least amount of votes. So, they were eliminated.
