New Magnum PI Season 5, November 22 & 29, 2023 Episode 17 Delayed. Not Airing
Hey, “Magnum P.I.” fans. Unfortunately, we have to jump on here tonight to inform you that the people over at NBC are not going to give you the next, new episode 17 of Magnum PI’s current season 5 tonight, November 22, 2023 and next Wednesday night, November 29, 2023. That’s right, guys. NBC is going to make you wait an additional two weeks to see the new episode 17.
According to NBC’s official episode 17 press release, NBC doesn’t plan to air the new episode 17 until Wednesday night, December 6, 2023. During that time, it will air in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be sure to remember that very important date and time.
So, what is NBC airing instead of a new Magnum PI episode tonight? According to the TV guide listings, NBC is going to air a repeat episode of Saturday Night LIVE. This repeat episode is titled, “A Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving.”
NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “A star-studded collection of “Saturday Night Live’s” most hilarious Thanksgiving-themed sketches from various seasons, including Debbie Downer: Thanksgiving Dinner, Thanksgiving Parade, Friends-giving, Apple Picking Ad, the Loud Family and many more.”
Next Wednesday night, NBC is going to air a new, LIVE, Christmas schedule titled, “91st Annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center LIVE. NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “The 91st annual tree-lighting ceremony kicks off the holiday season with a dazzling display of musical talents, star-studded surprises and the lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree; Kelly Clarkson hosts.”
If any of you guys find this alternate line of programming from NBC to be enticing at all, you might still want to keep NBC on your primetime watchlist tonight and next Wednesday night. If you are not interested in this alternate line of programming and only want to see new episodes of Magnum PI, you will definitely want to skip NBC on Wednesday nights until December 6, 2023.
Spoiler Warning: We did track down an official teaser description for the next, new episode 17 of Magnum PI season 5 via NBC’s official episode 17 press release. It let us know that episode 17 is officially titled, “Consciousness of Guilt.”
NBC’s official description for episode 17 reads like this, “Katsumoto asks Magnum to help him stop a killer from walking free after a homicide case falls apart.”
Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 17 of Magnum PI’s current season 5 is scheduled to finally show up on your TV screens on Wednesday night, December 6, 2023 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot.
