Hey, “Saturday Night LIVE” fans. We’re back at you on another Saturday to let you know that the NBC people will indeed serve up another new episode of Saturday Night LIVE tonight, December 16, 2023. That’s right, guys. NBC is going to deliver the next, new episode 8 of Saturday Night LIVE’s current season 49 tonight, and we’ve got some new preview intel for it.
We were able to get a hold of an official press release for tonight’s new, December 16, 2023 episode 8 straight from NBC. So, we will certainly reference it for this preview session. Let’s get to it.
In tonight’s new, December 16, 2023 episode 8, you guys are going to see 39 year old American actress, comedian, impressionist, and writer Kate McKinnon show up to the set to handle the hosting duties. This will be her first time hosting the show. However, she is actually a former Saturday Night LIVE cast member, and she has won two Emmy Awards for her work on SNL.
NBC’s official description for Kate McKinnon’s hosting appearance on tonight’s new episode reads like this, “Kate McKinnon will host “SNL” for the first time on Dec. 16. A two-time Emmy Award winner for her work as an “SNL” cast member, McKinnon stars as Weird Barbie in the record-breaking film “Barbie.”
For the musical portion of tonight’s new episode, you guys will see 21 year old American singer and songwriter Billie Eilish hit the stage. this is her 3rd time performing on Saturday Night LIVE. Billie currently has 6 Grammy Award nominations. Five of them are for her Barbie movie soundtrack song titled, “What Was I Made For?”
NBC’s description for Billie Eilish’s musical appearance on tonight’s new episode reads like this, “Billie Eilish will take the stage as musical guest for the third time. Her latest single, “What Was I Made For?” from the motion picture “Barbie,” has earned Eilish five of her six Grammy nominations this year.”
NBC’s press release confirmed that the next, new episode 8 of Saturday Night LIVE’s current season 49 is indeed scheduled to hit your TV sets tonight, December 16, 2023, starting at approximately 10:29 pm central standard time. Tonight’s new episode will be a 90-minute event. So, expect it to wrap up at 12 am central standard time.
