New 60 Minutes March 3, 2024 Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “60 Minutes” fans. We’re back at you again with some great news because the CBS people are serving up another new episode of 60 Minutes tonight, March 3, 2024. That’s right, guys. Tonight’s new episode will be the 21st installment of this current season 56, and we’ve got some new preview intel for it to run by you guys.
CBS was kind enough to serve up an official press release for tonight’s new, March 3, 2024 episode 21. So, we will certainly refer to it for this preview session. Let’s get into it.
In tonight’s new episode 21, the 60 Minutes team will present 3, new segments. The first one is titled, “OPERATION LONE STAR.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “After President Biden and former President Trump’s visits to the Texas-Mexico border this past week, correspondent Cecilia Vega reports from Eagle Pass, Texas, where she interviewed Governor Greg Abbott.
The governor’s controversial border enforcement effort, known as Operation Lone Star, has led to a showdown with the federal government. Andy Court is the producer.”
The second segment is labeled, “97 BOOKS.” CBS’ description for it reads like this, “Correspondent Scott Pelley reports on the battle to ban 97 books in one South Carolina public school district and the role played by the national movement for “parental rights” inspired by a group called Moms for Liberty.
The group says it is “fighting for the survival of America” but the book banning attempt was met with strong opposition in Beaufort, S.C. Henry Schuster and Sarah Turcotte are the producers.”
The 3rd segment is titled, “ARTEMIS.” CBS’ description for it reads like this, “Bill Whitaker reports on NASA’s plans to send Americans back to the moon with hopes of building a lunar outpost and traveling onward to Mars.
With a stated target date of late 2026, Whitaker reports from Kennedy Space Center, interviews NASA’s top watchdog, and visits one of its contractors, Blue Origin, where he asks tough questions around costs and timeline as they work towards this historic undertaking. Rome Hartman is the producer.”
CBS’ press release confirmed that the next, new episode 21 of 60 Minutes’ current season 56 is indeed scheduled to hit your TV screens tonight, March 3, 2024, starting at approximately 6 pm central standard time. It will be a 1-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 7 pm central standard time.
