New Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas movie delivered great laughs,drama & more. Lionsagate released their new comedy flick, “Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas” this weekend. I just checked it out, and thought it was awesome, serving up extremely hysterical laughs,great drama, and more. It stars: Tyler Perry, Kathy Najimy, Chad Michael Murray, Anna Maria Horsford, Tika Sumpter, Eric Lively, JR Lemon, Alicia Witt, Lisa Whelchel, and Larry the Cable Guy.
In the new flick, Madea (Tyler Perry) ends up ,pissing off an entire department store full of people when she takes on a job there. It was absolutely crazy as she just insulted every customer looking for help, which already had me drowning in laughter,but that wasn’t even the main plotline. They were just getting started.
Eventually, Madea got convinced to help her friend, Eileen, into paying her daughter, Lacey, a surprise visit in the country for Christmas after getting a vibe from Lacey over the phone that things might not be quite right with her. When they eventually showed up unannounced, it definitely cramped Lacey’s plans as she had a big secret that she wanted to hide for as long as she could.
However, the longer that Eileen and Madea kept hanging around, the harder it got for her to keep up her secret. Then when more guests arrived at her little farm house, it damn right became insurmountable, leading to a big blow out that brought things to a head. It also revealed that Lacey wasn’t the only one that had a few lies to tell as Eileen’s bag of lies were quickly brought to light by Madea.
Speaking of Madea, she was crazy as ever. Heck at one point, she tied a rude little girl to a cross with Christmas lights after the little girl took her purse as prank. Lol! that little girl will never do that again. It was the funniest thing I ever saw. Also, as part of the plotline, Lacey faced major drama with the school that she was teaching at as the townsfolk ran into a big disagreement with the sponsor she got to help with their annual Christmas Carnival.
It got so bad that it caused Lacey to get fired from the school. However, a great and traumatic event, towards the end of the movie, changed all that,leading to a happy ending. Again, I enjoyed every second of this movie as the laughs just couldn’t stop coming with crazy Madea/Tyler Perry. They also got Larry the Cable Guy in on the comical fun, and he was an absolute riot.
