2010 MTV VMA winners get revealed. Last night, the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards took place in Los Angeles,California at the Nokia Theatre,and featured awesome performances from hot entertainers like Eminem,Rihanna,Justin Bieber,Taylor Swift,Drake,Mary J. Blige,Swizz Beatz,Usher,Linkin Park,Kanye West,and more. Lady Gaga appeared to be the big winner,taking home about 8 awards. It was pretty damn impressive. With no further ado here are the winners for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.

Comedian Robert Schimmel Died Last Night Due To Car Accident

Comedian Robert Schimmel died last night due to car accident. According to TMZ, comedian Robert Schimmel died last night due to some serious injuries incurred from a car accident last week. They say Robert died last night in a Phoenix hospital due to injuries sustained in a car accident last week. He was 60 years old.

It was previously reported that Robert was the passenger in a serious car accident after his daughter,who was driving at the time, swerved to avoid an accident. She is still in the hospital,but is expected to be ok. Robert was a stand up comedian whose material was often X-rated and controversial. He was best known for his comedy albums and his appearances on HBO and The Howard Stern Show. Read more »

Top Critics gave The Last Exorcism movie pretty positive reviews. Lionsgate released their new horror flick “The Last Exorcism” into theaters today,and the top movie critics seem to be pretty mixed on it,giving it mostly Bs and Cs. One of them really didn’t like it,giving it a nasty D rating. The movie stars: Patrick Fabian and Ashley Bell.

Jesse Singal at the Boston Globe gave it a C. He said, “There may once have been a good and a bad film fighting for the soul of The Last Exorcism, but in its final moments, cinema’s dark forces triumph emphatically.”

Owen Gleiberman at Entertainment Weekly gave it a B rating. He stated, “It’s nothing if not clever about toying with your expectations.” Bill Gibron at Filmcritic.com gave it a nasty D rating. He said, “It’s easy to sum up what’s wrong with The Last Exorcism. Nothing happens.” Read more »

Top critics gave Pirahna 3D movie pretty positive reviews so far. Dimention Films released their new thriller flick “Pirahna 3D” into theaters this today,and the top movie critics have given it pretty positive reviews so far. I suspect that a lot of them were shut out from doing early screenings of the movie since we’ve only three reviews in so far for this flick. However, it’s garnered two Bs and a C so far. The movie stars: Jessica Szohr, Steven R. McQueen, Elisabeth Shue, Jerry O’Connell, Ving Rhames, Richard Dreyfuss, and Christopher Lloyd.

Peter Debruge at Variety gave it a B rating. He said, “The 32-year-old carnivorous fish franchise has lost none of its bite, serving up a fresh batch of spring-break revelers for the fearsome creatures to attack.” Read more »

Lionsagate released their new action flick “Expendables” into theaters today,and the top movie critics thought it was pretty good,giving it mostly positive B ratings across the board. The movie possesses an all-star cast,which includes: Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, David Zayas, Giselle Itie, Charisma Carpenter, Gary Daniels, Terry Crews, and Mickey Rourke.

Ty Burr from the Boston Globe gave it a B rating. He said, “It’s reprehensible. It’s stoopid violent. It’s a lot of unholy fun.” Michael Phillips at the Chicago tribune gave it a C. He stated, “Is it fun? Sort of. But it shoulda coulda been a ton of fun.” Read more »

Touchstone Pictures released their new dance flick movie “Step Up 3D” into theaters today,and the top movie critics were pretty mixed on it,giving it As,Bs,Cs,and Ds,but not lower than a D. I guess it comes down to personal taste with this flick. It stars: Adam Sevani, Alyson Stoner, Rick Malambri, Sharni Vinson, Keith “Remedy” Stallworth, Kendra Andrews, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, and Joe Slaughter.

Kevin Thomas at the The Los Angeles Times gave it an A-. He said, “An exhilarating summer treat for all ages.” Michael Phillips at the Chicago Tribune gave it a B+. He said , “It boasts a generous exuberance and, as entertainment products go, it’s surprisingly sweet.” Read more »

Columbia Pictures released their new,hilarious,comedy flick “The Other Guys” into theaters today,and the top movie critics appeared to be pretty ok with it for the most part. It got mostly As and Bs. However, there were a few Cs thrown into the mix. The movie stars: Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Eva Mendes, Michael Keaton, Steve Coogan, Ray Stevenson, Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, Rob Riggle, and Damon Wayans Jr.

Universal Pictures released its new animated comedy flick “Despicable Me” into theaters today,and the top movie critics in the business didn’t seem to have much of a problem with it. In fact, most of them thought it was pretty damn good,giving it mostly As and Bs,and only a few Cs. Paramount Pictures released their new action/adventure flick “The Last Airbender” into theaters yesterday,and most of the top movie critics weren’t impressed with it at all. They mostly gave it Ds,and one of them even gave it an F rating. However, there was one who thought it was pretty good with a B-. It stars: Noah Ringer, Nicola Peltz, Jackson Rathbone, Dev Patel, Jessica Jade Andres, Aasif Mandvi, Shaun Toub, Cliff Curtis, and Keong Sim.

Top critics gave Ashton Kutcher’s new ‘Killers’ movie pretty bad reviews. Lionsgate released their new action/comedy, Ashton Kutcher branded flick “Killers” into theaters today,and hardly any of the top movie critics seemed pleased with it. Some of them called it stupid and disappointing. It stars: Ashton Kutcher, Katherine Heigl, Tom Selleck, Catherine O’Hara, Katheryn Winnick, Kevin Sussman, Lisa Ann Walter, Casey Wilson, Rob Riggle, Martin Mull, and Alex Borstein.

Jason McKiernan at Filmcritic.com said, “It’s not a perfect film and it’s not a piece of cinematic refuse, but Killers is able to find happiness in the middle.” Peter Sobczynski at efilmcritic.com said, “Even if Lady Gaga herself were to turn up to meet you in the bleachers during the screening, there is no earthly reason for anyone to spend their time or money on “Killers.” Read more »
