New Expendables movie delivered a lot of explosions & heavy action. Lionsgate recently released their new star-studded hardcore action flick ” The Expendables” into theaters this weekend. I just got done watching it,and I think it really delivered in the action/explosion department. They really came out with all guns a blazin in this one. It stars: Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, David Zayas, Giselle Itie, Charisma Carpenter, Gary Daniels, Terry Crews, and Mickey Rourke.

“The Expendables” revolved around Sylvester Stallone’s character Barney Ross and his all-star group of trained, expert warriors. They take on an overseas assignment that eventually goes wrong as they find out the information they were given wasn’t entirely upfront and honest.

They eventually decide to bail on the assignment, but after an ex-team member attacks them and Barney’s sympathy for a girl they left behind over there takes over, They decide to go back and just basically blow up the entire place, the evil men operating it,and save the beautiful foreign girl.

The movie featured a huge action fight between Gunner (Dolph Lundgren) and Ying Yang (Jet Li), tons of men getting shot up in an all out gun battle,a huge brawl with former WWE wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin who played character Paine, and more. The movie capped off with a huge banging finale that involved lots of explosions, fighting, and more shootouts. It just featured true hardcore action at in its rawest form.

I thought the film was highly entertaining. It didn’t have the most unique storyline, but it sufficed for me. There was never a boring moment as it moved along at a pretty fast pace, and it also had a bit of humor as well. Sylvester Stallone did a good job,and still looked to be in awesome physical condition.
