However,it got a little ridiculous at the end. Overall, though,it was pretty good. The movie stars: Jack Black, Emily Blunt, Jason Segel, Amanda Peet, Billy Connolly, James Corden, Catherine Tate, and Chris O’Dowd.

“Gulliver’s Travels” revolved around character Lemuel Gulliver (Jack Black) who is a low confident, mail room worker that has a major crush on a girl in the office named Darcy Silverman (Amanda Peet). In a failed attempt to ask her out on a date, he winds up applying for a writing/traveling job.

He eventually lands the job through plagiarism, and it takes him on a boat trip to the mysterious Bermuda Triangle. While on his trip,he suddenly gets caught up in a ocean vortex that takes him to the land of Lilliput, which is populated by nothing but tiny people.

The people tie him up and treat him like a beast at first, but after he saves the king’s life, he gets treated like royalty and becomes their defender. In some crazy turn of events, he eventually lets them down as his true identity gets exploited. He is then banished from their land.

The movie caps off with Gulliver returning and proving that he’s more than just a failure. It featured a ton of funny scenes including Gulliver pissing on the castle to put out a fire,Gulliver dancing around all over the place, and more.

It got kind of ridiculous for me at the end with all the singing and dancing stuff, but overall, I was entertained throughout the entire film. Jack Black,of course, did a great job . He’s always funny to watch. I gave the movie a B rating. “Gulliver’s Travels” movie is in theaters now. Get your “Gulliver’s Travels” movie tickets by Clicking Here.
