New ‘Green Hornet’ movie delivered tons of action & drama. Columbia Pictures released their new action flick “The Green Hornet” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and it turned out to be even better than I thought it would be,especially in the action department. It really delivered nonstop action throughout the film. The movie stars: Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Cameron Diaz, Christoph Waltz, Edward James Olmos, David Harbour, and Tom Wilkinson.

“The Green Hornet” revolved around characters Britt Reed aka Green Hornet (Seth Rogen) and Kato (John Cho). Britt Reed spent most of his early life partying on his rich father’s dime, while Kato worked as a mechanic for his father, and he also made one of hell of a cup of coffee.

However, Britt’s father dies from a supposed bee sting that he was highly allergic to. After that, Britt took over control of everything his father owned, including his very successful newspaper. Britt feels content with leaving the paper in control of his father’s right-hand man,so he can do other crazy things. He eventually meets and befriends Kato after he realizes his coffee just doesn’t taste quite right anymore due to Kato getting fired.

The two eventually start fighting crime as the Green Hornet and Kato after Britt discovers that Kato can really kick butt, along with being a great mechanic and coffee maker. They also enlist the beautiful Lenore Case (Cameron Diaz) to be their journalist at the paper, and soon discover that the paper was largely being controlled by a criminal organization, which ultimately led to his father’s death.

This fact leads to a huge,action-filled showdown towards the end, which left a whole lot of stuff torn up and blown up. The movie was great as it featured car chases, gun shootouts, comical moments, fighting, and more. Also, Britt and Kato’s relationship was not without turbulence as they had to duke it out in a very intense scene,so it also delivered a lot on the drama side of things.

I thought John Cho really did an excellent job playing Kato. Seth was good as the bumbling Green Hornet, and Cameron Diaz was fiery and smoking hot. I gave the movie an A all the way. “The Green Hornet” movie is in theaters now. Get your “Green Hornets” movie tickets by Clicking Here.
