Cowboys & Aliens movie delivered lots of wild action, special effects, drama & more.
Universal Pictures released their new action/thriller flick “Cowboys & Aliens” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and thought it was way better than I had anticipated it to be.
The theater was also surprisingly packed, which made me think this movie is a pretty huge deal. It stars: Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, Adam Beach, Paul Dano, Noah Ringer, Keith Carradine, Clancy Brown, Ana de la Reguera, and Abigail Spencer.
In the flick,Daniel Craig played character Jake Lonergan who is a robber that has forgotten his identity after escaping the grasp of dangerous aliens. Now he’s caught out in the middle of nowhere, and makes his way to a small town called “Absolution.”
After being there a short while, the sheriff has him arrested because he found out he’s a wanted man with bounty on his head. However, they soon stop picking on old Jake because they simply don’t have time once the violent aliens show up and start shooting and capturing people.
Even though Jake doesn’t remember who is,his instincts take over, and he quickly discovers that he has a powerful bracelet gun on his wrist that he uses to blow the aliens out of the sky. Eventually Jake, the townspeople, and a group of Indians team up with the help of a beautiful, mysterious dame named Ella Swenson (Olivia Wilde).
After they team up,they execute a plan to rescue all the people the aliens captured, and destroy them and their space ship before they try and leave. It led to a huge conclusion that involved a lot of action, explosions, and more.
I really enjoyed watching the movie. It didn’t have a dull moment in it. It was action-packed right from the jump. I thought Daniel Craig’s intensity was great, and I’m a new fan of Olivia Wilde. She was absolutely gorgeous. Also, Mr. Indiana Jones himself Harrison Ford didn’t disappoint. Him and Daniel made a great team in this flick. I gave it an A- grade.
