New Colombiana movie delivered awesome action,drama & more
TriStar Pictures released their new Zoe Saldana,action flick “Colombiana” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and thought it was absolutely excellent. Zoe Saldana really kicks ass in these action flicks,and this was her best one yet. Her character was really sexy,slick,smooth,and explosive. The movie stars: Zoe Saldana, Jordi Molla, Lennie James, Michael Vartan,and Cliff Curtis.
In the flick, character Cataleya Restrepo’s (Zoe Saldana) parents get brutally killed right in front of her,but luckily she escapes to America via a passport her father gave to her just before he was killed. She eventually finds her uncle Emilio Restrepo in Chicago.
Shortly after she arrived,she told Emilio,she wants him to train her to be a killer in hopes that one day,she could enact revenge on her father’s killers. After that, the movie skips ahead 15 years later where Cataleya has taken out 20 plus people who are involved with the mobster group that murdered her father,and she leaves behind the flower she’s named after to send a message to the mobster that killed her parents.
The mobsters eventually catch on to who’s killing their people,and go after Cataleya’s family in Chicago and kill all of them,including her uncle. Meanwhile,the FBI are onto Cataleya as well. However, Cataleya is so smooth she gets the FBI to work with her to find the location of the mobster since he was being protected by the CIA.
Once Cataleya finds the mobster’s location,all hell breaks loose in a huge,action-filled conclusion that has her taking out tons of men in very creative ways. She uses major explosives,guns,hand to hand combat,and even animals to stalk her prey. She was almost untouchable. It was really awesome,and quite beautiful to watch how she executed everything. It was a true action flick at its finest. It could definitely compete with the likes of other female action elites like Angelina Jolie.
I really enjoyed watching this movie. There was never a dull moment,and it was just really fun to watch. Zoe Saldana is really sexy,yet very intense and I think she makes for a really cool action star. I could actually watch this one again because it was so interesting.
