New Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter Movie Delivered Great Action,Thrills & More

New Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter movie delivered great action, thrills & more. Recently, 20th Century Fox released their new action/thriller flick “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and thought it was highly entertaining as it served up a ton of fighting and thrilling action, along with some intense drama throughout.

It stars: Benjamin Walker, Dominic Cooper, Anthony Mackie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jimmi Simpson, Robin McLeavy, Alan Tudyk, and Rufus Sewell. In the new film, a young Abraham Lincoln goes after a vampire named Jack Barts in an effort to avenge the death of his mother Nancy.

Lincoln attacks Jack at the docks, but Jack overpowers him. Fortunately, Lincoln was able to break free and eventually shoot Jack in the head. However, vampire can’t be killed with bullets,so Jack nearly kills Lincoln, but not quite, because he gets rescued by a mysterious man named Henry Sturges.

Eventually, Henry teaches Lincoln to fight and kill vampires after Lincoln promises him that he wouldn’t fight to seek vengeance. After finishing his long,10 years of training, Henry sends Lincoln off to Springfield in 1837 to await his vampire killing tasks. While there, Lincoln starts working at a small shop for room and board. The shop is owned by a man named Joshua Speed, who Lincoln befriends.

Lincoln also meets his future wife, Mary Todd, there. At nights, Lincoln went out and hunted vampires that Henry told him to kill, leading up to him killing the one he hated most Jack Barts. After killing Barts, the leader of all the vamps named Adam is alerted, and tries to capture Lincoln. However the attempt failed after Lincoln’s friend Joshua Speed, rescues him and his friend Will.

After that, Lincoln learns that his trainer Henry is actually a vampire, who fights other vampires because he was turned against his will, while they killed his lover. From that point, Lincoln abandoned the vampire fight, and eventually became president, and tried to fight slavery.

The movie jumps years later to 1861,and Lincoln returns to the vampire fight after one of the vamps sneaks into the Whitehouse, and kills his son. This led to a big thrilling conclusion that involved Abraham and his old friends Will and Joshua, taking on a ton of vampires on a train. There was also a big war, involving lots of American soldiers, taking out a ton vampires with special vampire-killing, silver, weapons.

Again, I enjoyed watching the flick as it stayed quite interesting throughout with lots of action, fight scenes, drama, and more. There was never a dull moment. The plot was also pretty interesting. I gave it a solid B+ grade. Follow us on Facebook by Clicking Here. Follow us on Twitter by Clicking Here.
