New Savages Movie Delivered Great Action,Violence,Drama & More
New Savages movie delivered great action, violence, drama & more. Universal Pictures released their new thriller flick “Savages” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it ,and thought it was pretty entertaining as the plot was interesting, and it also served up a ton of action, drama, and more. The movie stars: Taylor Kitsch, Blake Lively, Aaron Johnson, John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Benicio Del Toro, Salma Hayek, Emile Hirsch, and Demian Bichir.
In the new flick, Character Ben (Aaron Taylor-Johnson)is a University of California, Berkeley graduate, and character Chon (Taylor Kitsch) is a former U.S. Navy SEAL. They eventually team up to become top weed growers after Chon brought back the best seeds from Afghanistan. Ben took care of the business end of it,while Chon handled the dirty collections part. Together, they ran a relatively peaceful and successful operation, while sharing one, sexy, girlfriend named Ophelia (Blake Lively).
Unfortunately, things go bad for Ben and Chon after they get approached by representatives of Elena Sánchez (Salma Hayek) of the Baja Cartel. She wants to go into business with them, but Ben and Chon do not want to be involved with a cartel,so Elena sends her henchman Lado, (Benicio del Toro) to kidnap their girl Ophelia.
At this point, Ben and Chon work with a corrupt DEA agent, played by John Travolta to fight back against the cartel and rescue Ophelia. However, getting Ophelia back was no easy task as they had to setup a heist by blowing up a few Cartel cars. Then find a way to shift the blame off them, and managed to get the Cartel to think it was one of their own men.
They also had to steal Elena’s daughter to finally make her cave in,and give Ophelia back. It concluded with a huge ,drama-filled, finale. Again, I enjoyed watching the flick. The plotline was pretty unique and John Travolta was kinda funny in it,especially when he was scrambling to save his life. Blake Lively always does a good job playing the cute, sexy, girl. I gave the movie a solid B grade. Follow us on Facebook by Clicking Here. Follow us on Twitter by Clicking Here.
