New ‘Thunderstruck’ Movie Delivered Pretty Good Comedy,Feel Good Moments, & More

New ‘Thunderstruck’ movie delivered pretty good comedy, feel good moments, & more. Warner Bros. Pictures released their new comedy/family flick “Thunderstruck” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and thought it was a very good family flick as it delivered pretty good comedy, drama, and feel good moments. It stars: Kevin Durant,Taylor Gray,Brandon T. Jackson, James Belushi, Larramie “Doc” Shaw, and Hana Hayes.

In the new flick, character Brian is a high school kid that is absolutely horrible at basketball, but is a huge fan of the sport. He also constantly gets made fun of by the popular kids at school, which doesn’t help his confidence with a girl he likes named Ashley.

One day, Brian’s dad takes him to an Oklahoma “Thunders” game to see basketball great Kevin Durant play. Once there, Brian gets the opportunity to shoot a halfcourt shot for $20,000. However,he misses it horribly, but Kevin signs a ball for him and accidentally transfers his talents to Brian when Brian makes a wish for his talent.

From there, Brian becomes a mega high school basketball star, while Kevin Durant completely loses his ability and almost his career because he sucks so bad. Kevin’s agent ,Alan, tries to think of everything to get Kevin’s talent back, but comes up short until he discovers that Brian was absolutely no good until that night he got the signed ball from Kevin.

Alan eventually gets Brian to come in an prove to Kevin that he does actually have his talent by using one of Kevin’s rare moves that no one else could possibly do. This leads up to a conclusion where Brian discovers how to transfer Kevin’s talents back to him,and also how to find his own way of winning on his basketball team.

Again, I enjoyed watching the movie. It was very entertaining. It won’t win an Oscar or anything, but it was definitely a good movie for the entire family. I gave it a solid B+ grade. Follow us on Facebook by Clicking Here. Follow us on Twitter by Clicking Here.
