New ‘This Is 40’ movie delivered tons of laughs,hardcore drama,Megan Fox & more . Universal Pictures dropped their new,wicked comedy flick “This Is 40” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it and thought it was extremely funny and entertaining as it served up nonstop laughs in every scene,major drama,lots of cursing. Heck even the little kids ,cussed like there was no tomorrow. It was crazy. It stars: Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann, Megan Fox, John Lithgow, Iris Apatow, Maude Apatow, Melissa McCarthy, Robert Smigel, Charlene Yi, and Albert Brooks.
Apparently, this flick is a continuation form the comedy “Knocked Up,” which I never saw,but after watching this,maybe I need to check it out,because it was funny as hell. In it, characters Debbie (Leslie Mann) and Pete (Paul Rudd) ,continue to hardcore fight their way through their marriage. Pete also has mounting financial problems when his new record label fails miserably,along with him lending his mooching father money that totaled in the $80,000 range.
On top of that, Pete doesn’t tell Debbie about the money issues. Then they also have crazy emotional issues that leak out onto the kids,pretty much resulting in a huge,unstable, mess of a family. Someone is also stealing from Debbie’s clothing store and she thinks it might be the super hot chick ,named Desi (Megan Fox), since she always wears expensive clothing,drives nice cars,and lives in an expensive place. However, it turns out that she’s just a hooker on the side,but Debbie thinks that’s ok as long as Desi feels she isn’t in any danger,lol!
To mount to their financial problems, Debbie gets pregnant after her doctor tells her she couldn’t,and it all leads to more crying and cussing drama sessions. Debbie also gets super strict with the kids,causing their oldest daughter Sadie to get super pissed and go on major cuss fest.
But through all the drama,cussing,fighting,and just utter craziness, Debbie and Pete and the family ,seemingly make it back to a happy place.Actually more like a tolerable place, sort of. Again, I totally enjoyed watching this film as it served up nonstop,crazy,insane,laughs. They also made sure to give hot Megan Fox lots of onscreen, bikini time. I mean, what else could you ask for?
