Grey’s Anatomy Season 14 Is Going To Deliver Six New Surprises Very Soon

That’s right. In the 4th new episode of this current 14th season, Grey’s Anatomy is going to debut 6 new castmembers! They are all interns. And just to be all the way accurate, technically five of the six new castmembers will make their debut. One of them already debuted during the big two hour premiere episode. That one was actor Jake Borelli who plays character Levi. He is Jo’s new intern. Levi will be a recurring character.

Jake Borelli’s acting resume includes roles in Psych, ICarly, The Forgotten, Parenthood, CBS’ NCIS: Los Angeles,True Jackson, Greek, Suburgatory, Elf Employment, Supermoms, Nesting, a short called, “Meanamorphosis,” a TV series called,”CeReality,” GangRelated TV show,NCIS,Reality High, The Thundermans TV show and an upcoming movie called, “In Searching.”

So, it looks like Jake has been a very busy actor. Welcome him aboard Grey Sloan. Now, we’ll introduce the next five new additions that have not been featured on the show yet. These five will be the interns that Richard and Bailey discover when they go in search of the stars of tomorrow.

First up is character Vik. He’s played by actor Rushi Kota. Vik will also be a recurring character. Rushi Kota’s acting resume includes roles in: a short called, “Sex Without Condoms,” Afghan Hound, The Royals TV Show, The One I Wrote for You, General Hospital soap opera, The 101 TV show, Extant TV show, Fruitless TV show, ESL-English as a Second Language TV movie, Super Mehra Bros, Famous In Love TV show and The Divorce Party. So, he’s another one with an extensive acting background.

Next, we’ve got actress Jaicy Elliot. She will play character Taryn. She will also be a recurring character. As far as Jaicy’s acting resume goes, it turns out that this will be her first acting gig. The only other experience she had in show business was working as an office production assistant on a 2016 production called, ‘The Unwilling.” So, we wish Jaicy luck on Grey’s Anatomy. We can only imagine this is a really huge first acting job for her.

Third in line is actor Alex Blue Davis.He will portray character Casey. Casey is also listed as a recurring character. Alex Blue Davis’ acting resume includes roles in a short called,”Welcome to Camp Apotampkin. In it, he played a Zombie Guy. He acted in a TV show called,”Newlywed and Broke” as a Gallery Attender extra.

He played character Michaelin one of the NCIS: Los Angeles episodes that aired in 2015. He did another short called, “The Better Sister.” He showed up as character Vernon Palumbo in one of the NCIS episodes that aired in 2017. He also has a composer credit for work on a short called, “No Asians, No Fats, No Fems.” It sounds like this Grey’s Anatomy role will be Alex’s biggest semi-regular gig.

Fourth on the list is actress Jeanine Mason. She will be playing character Sam. Sam is also listed as a recurring character. Jeanine Mason’s acting and showbiz resume includes appearances as herself on Live! with Kelly, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Elle: The Ellen Degeneres Show and So You Think You Can Dance season 5. She actually won the show.

Since then, Jeanine went on to act in: Big Time Rush TV show. The Fresh Beat Band TV show. The Bling Ring TV movie. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation TV show. A short called, “Glassy.” Another short called, “iUnderstudy!” A TV show called,”Hollywood Heights,” A TV show called, “Bunheads.” “The Secret Life Of The American Teenager” TV show, Hot Mess TV show, Major Crimes TV show, Awkward TV show.

Dellrium TV movie. “You’re the Worst” TV show, Default, NCIS Los Angeles, Take It From Us TV show, Studio City TV movie, a short called, “Stars,” “El Empantanado: The Muddy,” Of Kings and Prophets TV show, “ESL-English as a Second Language” TV movie, The Archer, a short called,”Waffles,” Daytime Divas TV show, Ride Overshare TV show, Criminal Minds TV show and Searchers TV movie. So, Jeanine has been very busy. Grey’s Anatomy just appears to be another notch in Jeanine’s long line of acting jobs.

The fifth and last new addition that will appear in this Thursday night’s episode 4 is actress Sophia Taylor Ali. She will be portraying character Dahlia Khan. Dahlia is another recurring intern character.

Sophia Taylor Ali’s acting resume includes roles in a 2003 TV show called, “K Street,”Barney: Let’s Make Music,” “Barney & Friends” TV show, Missionary Man, “Barney: Celebrating Around The World,” The Longshots, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Shake It Up TV show, CSI: Miami, “Melissa & Joey,” Tyrant, The Walking Deceased, Everybody Wants Some!!, Faking It TV show, Mono, The Disappearing Girl TV show, Bad Kids Of Crestview Academy, a short called, “Immortals,” The Mindy Project TV show and “Truth Or Dare.” So, Sophia is another one that’s built up quite an extensive resume.

Currently, there’s no other details about what these interns will be doing when they arrive at Grey Sloan Memorial. So, we’ll definitely have to tune in to see what’s in store for them.
