Grey’s Anatomy Spoilers For Season 15, April 11, 2019 Episode 21 Revealed By ABC
Hey, “Grey’s Anatomy” fans. We hope you guys enjoyed tonight’s episode 20. Now that it’s officially over and in the history books, it’s time to take a look at what the next, new episode 21 will serve up next Thursday night, April 11, 2019. Like clockwork, ABC recently put out their press release for episode 21. So, that is what we’ll be taking a look at for this spoiler session.
To get things started, ABC’s press released revealed that the producers decided to title episode 21, “Good Shepherd.” That title sort of gives away that this episode will be all about the Shepherds. This is the one where the fourth Shepherd sister Kathleen is introduced, played by the beautiful actress Amy Acker.
It sounds like episode 21 will feature some pretty interesting scenes as Amelia and Link hit up New York City together to perform a major operation on a patient that has a spinal deformity. While in New York, they are going to run into Amelia’s sister Nancy. Nancy will eventually invite Amelia and Link over for dinner at her house where they’ll eventually meet the fourth Shepherd sister Kathleen Shepherd played by Amy Acker.
ABC’s official description tells us, “Amelia and Link travel to New York to operate on a patient with a severe spinal deformity, but they’re in for more than they bargained for when Nancy Shepherd invites them to dinner at her home.” An alternate description reads like this, “AMELIA AND LINK RUN INTO HER SISTER NANCY WHILE TRAVELING TO NEW YORK FOR A PATIENT.”
ABC also released a new preview clip for episode 21. It also features mostly Amelia and Link scenes, and it reveals that things will certainly get a bit awkward as Amelia introduces Link to her sisters as being her husband!
The clip starts off with Amelia telling Link, “We’re in New York. No complications.” After that, the clip cuts to a scene with Nancy greeting Amelia with a big hug while at the hospital. This encounter is obviously a surprise for both Amelia and Nancy. Nancy says, ” Oh, my god!” Amelia says, “Nancy.” Then Nancy introduces herself to Link with a hand shake, and Amelia tells Nancy,”This is my husband.” Link looks shocked, and Nancy tells Link, “Welcome to the family.”
Next, the clip shows Amelia and Link showing up at Nancy’s house for dinner. Then the clip closes out with Kathleen telling Amelia, “There’s just one thing I don’t understand. ABC also released a couple of preview photos for episode 21. Amelia, Link, Nancy and Kathleen are featured in almost all of the preview photos. So, definitely expect to see a lot of scenes with them. Kathleen seems so happy and smiley in most of the scenes. We can’t say the same for Nancy and Link though.
They both look like they are definitely not pleased with one another in a couple of the photos. We’ll have to wait and see what that’s all about. The other photos show more of Amelia and Link as they’re performing their very intense surgery. So, it appears that Amelia and Link are just going to hog this entire episode. Episode 21 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Chris Carmack as character Atticus “Link” Lincoln, Embeth Davidtz as character Nancy Shepherd, Amy Acker as character Kathleen Shepherd and Tyne Daly as character Carolyn Shepherd.
The season regulars that will be featured in episode 21 are: Ellen Pompeo as character Meredith Grey, Justin Chambers as character Alex Karev, Chandra Wilson as character Miranda Bailey, James Pickens Jr. as character Richard Webber, Kevin McKidd as character Owen Hunt, Jesse Williams as character Jackson Avery, Caterina Scorsone as character Amelia Shepherd, Camilla Luddington as character Jo Wilson, Kelly McCreary as character Maggie Pierce, Kim Raver as character Teddy Altman and Giacomo Gianniotti as character Andrew DeLuca.
Episode 21 was written by Julie Wong, and it was directed by Bill D’Elia. Again, ABC’s press release confirmed that episode 21 is indeed scheduled to hit the airwaves next Thursday night,April 11, 2019 in its usual 7 pm central time slot.
