All The Former Big Brother Houseguest Teams Officially Revealed for Next Amazing Race Season 31

Happy Wednesday fellow Big Brother fans. We were able to find some additional news for the upcoming Amazing Race season 31 Big Brother edition that we previously reported on. First of all, a few weeks back, TMZ was reporting that it was an all-Big Brother Amazing Race season. The the folks over at Realityblurred.com said that was not the case, and that it would include former Amazing Race contestants as well.

Well, it turns out they were both wrong. However, Realityblurred was more correct than TMZ because the new season 31 will also include former “Survivor” reality show contestants to go along with the former Big Brother and Amazing Race people ! We’ve also learned who the official teams are.

The folks over at goldderby.com are reporting that Amazing Race season 31 officially started filming this past Sunday, June 11, 2018 with a total of 11 teams. Only three of them turned out to be Big Brother teams.

The Big Brother teams consisted of former season 18 houseguest Victor Arroyo. He’s teamed up with Big Brother season 16 houseguest/season 18 winner Nicole Franzel. I think they’re still dating right now. So, that explains their whole partnership.

The next Big Brother team consists of season 12 and 14 houseguest Britney Haynes. She’s teamed up with the legendary Janelle Pierzina who finished in 3rd place in both seasons 6 and 7-allstars. She also was a houseguests on the 14th season where she didn’t do too well at all due to that whole coaches twists. I actually think it’s cool that Britney and Janelle are teamed up. It should be interesting to see how they get along during the race.

The last Big Brother team consists of former season 12/season 13 winner Rachel Reilly. This time ,she’s teamed up with season 15 houseguests/her sister Elissa Slater. Rachel has competed two other times on The Amazing Race with her hubby Brendon Villegas from Big Brother seasons 12 and 13. So, this will be an interesting switch-up for her. I’m actually surprised the producers decided to have Rachel back for a freaking third appearance. The must have really liked all her whining and complaining.

Anyways, that’s the official Big brother teams that will be in Amazing Race season 31 when it finally airs later on this year. How do you guys feel about the former Big Brother houseguest/teams they selected? Do you like them? Do you hate them? Or do you just not care one way or the other? Let us know in the Facebook comments.

As we mentioned earlier, the other teams that will appear in The Amazing Race season 31 are from previous Amazing Race and Survivor seasons. The producers opted to bring back five previous Amazing Race teams.

They are Colin Guinn and Christie Woods who finished in second place way, way back in season 5. Art Velez and John James “JJ” Carrell who finished in second place back on season 20. Tyler Oakley and Korey Kuhl who finished in third place on season 28. Leo Temory and Jamal Zadran who finished in fourth place back in season 23. And lastly, they brought back Becca Droz and Floyd Pierce who finished in fifth place back in season 29.

The producers decided to bring on six former Survivor contestants for The Amazing Race’s upcoming 31st season. The first one is Rupert Boneham from Survivor: Pearl Islands, All-Stars, Heroes vs. Villains, and Blood vs. Water seasons. Rupert will be teamed up with Laura Boneham from the Survivor: Blood vs. Water season.

The second team consists of Chris Hammons and Bret LaBelle from the Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X season. And last, but most certainly not least, we’ll see Corinne Kaplan from Survivor:Gabon and Caramoan seasons. She’ll be teamed up with Eliza Orlins from the Survivor: Vanuatu and Fans vs. Favorites seasons.

Golderby.com also pointed out that the New Amazing Race season 31’s starting location was in Hermosa Beach, California. Host Phil Keoghan made some very positive statements about the latest season in a recent interview. He said, “We’re absolutely going to be trying some new things. Fans will get something of what they want based on the original format, us getting back to our roots. I’m feeling confident that we have the right ingredients to do something interesting.”

Since the 31st season of Amazing Race is currently filming right now, we expect it to most likely air during the Fall 2018. However, we’re still waiting on a confirmed premiere date from CBS.

Alright guys. That’s going to wrap things up for this report. Just another reminder. Big Brother season 20 starts on Wednesday night, June 27, 2018 at 7 pm central standard time on CBS.
