New ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 15 Disappointing Fact Has Been Revealed By A Castmember
Happy Friday “Grey’s Anatomy” fans. We’ve got a new report for you guys in regards to the upcoming 15th season. It’s not great news. The degree of it is whether or not you guys were fans of Meredith’s possible new love interest. If you’ll recall, Meredith had an encounter with a transplant Surgeon named Nick Marsh back in the 17th episode of season 14.
Meredith ended up treating him when he encountered a medical issue, and they sparked up a bit of a flirting romance as they had lots of chemistry. According to TV Guide, a lot of the fans wanted Nick to come back as a full-time fixture on the show in the upcoming season 15. Hopes were really high that he would up until a fan caught up to his portrayer Scott Speedman to ask the burning question.
They say the fan caught up to Scott while he was attending the Felicity reunion panel at the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas earlier this month. The fan asked him if the next time we saw him on TV, it’d be as a doctor or someone in need of a doctor, referring to his roles on Grey’s Anatomy and the Animal Kingdom.
Unfortunately, his answer was not very positive for both projects. He told the fan, “Yeah, I don’t know. Probably, to be honest with you, neither. You’re going to have to wait a couple years. I’ll find something to do. I’m not going back to Animal Kingdom. And then Grey’s Anatomy: I don’t know. Probably not. Sorry.”
So, there you have it guys. If any of you were wondering what his possible future status would be for a season 15 return is, it’s looking quite bleak at best. On the other hand, anything is possible. The producers could up and decide,”Hey, we need that guy back” one day, and set the wheels in motion. But as of right now, It’s not looking good.
In related news, we previously reported to you guys that Kim Raver’s Teddy Altman has been bumped up to a season regular for the new season 15. As of right now, that’s the only other confirmed news we have for season 15, but hang in there. We expect some new stuff to surface pretty soon as we approach the back half of June. Actually, we’re more likely to learn something new towards the middle of July 2018. But we’ll see. Something good could turn up before then.
According to TV Line, Kim Raver did make a statement about her upgraded status on Grey’s Anatomy. She stated, “I am thrilled to reprise the role of Dr. Teddy Altman as a regular. Returning to Shondaland with the incredibly talented showrunner Krista Vernoff, Ellen Pompeo and the amazing cast is heavenly. I have a special place in my heart for Teddy and feel very lucky to have the opportunity to continue her story.”
In the season 14 finale episode, Teddy actually revealed that she was shockingly pregnant in the very last seconds. Teddy was also offered the job of interim chief by Bailey in the season finale installment. It’ll be interesting to see how that all plays out. We expect ABC to announce the premiere date for the upcoming season 15 probably in mid to late July 2018. They’re usually the last of the big networks to announce their premiere dates. Anyways guys.
