New Big Brother Season 20 Power Of Veto Ceremony Results Revealed For September 3, 2018
Happy Monday and Labor day fellow Big Brother fans. We’re back at you with another exciting report from the Big Brother season 20 house. Earlier today, September 3, 2018, the Power Of Veto Ceremony took place. Before we get into the results of that meeting, let’s go ahead and do a brief rundown of what took place this week leading up to it.
Scottie Dalton made it back into the house after winning the Jury Battle Back competition on Thursday night, August 30, 2018. Then later on that same night, Tyler won the Head of Household competition after competing in a very intense endurance battle where he edged out Haleigh for the victory. Things would’ve looked very different this week if Haleigh had of won that HOH, but it just didn’t happen.
As a result of that, the most predictable outcome came from Tyler’s eviction nominations which took place on Friday, August 31, 2018. Tyler nominated Haleigh and Scottie for eviction. Haleigh was shocked that Scottie went up next to her. She was thinking Sam was going to be nominated with her. She was seldom right and wrong again.
Anyways, on Saturday, September 1, 2018, the houseguests: Kaycee, JC, Sam, Tyler, Haleigh and Scottie battled it our for the Power Of Veto competition. After everything played out, Kaycee emerged the victor for the second straight Power Of Veto competition in a row! Since Kaycee is a very loyal L6 alliance member, we fully expected her not to use her veto today at the Power Of Veto ceremony, leaving Tyler’s eviction nominations the same.
So again, earlier today, September 3,2018, the Power Of Veto ceremony took place. After everything was said and done, it was revealed that Kaycee did indeed not use her veto to save Haleigh or Scottie. That means Haleigh and Scottie indeed will be the final nominations for this week. One of them will walk out that door this Thursday night, September 6, 2018 and head off to the jury house.
The overall consensus of the L6 alliance is to go ahead and send Scottie right on back to the jury house. This comes as no surprise to us. We knew if Scottie didn’t win the HOH comp, he was headed right back out that door. This was a must win HOH victory for him. We also thought him falling off that disc during the HOH comp was a bit lame especially when his Big Brother life was on the line.
He did start spinning a bit much, but he could’ve totally held on. He also was seen telling Haleigh last night on the feeds that he didn’t feel anymore pain or stress than before he got on that apparatus. Also, Scottie thought he had a shot of getting with Tyler and possibly staying safe. He felt that way before he even went back into the house. I think that may have played into him not staying on that disc as long as he could.
Whatever the case, Scottie should held on tough like Haleigh did to try and win that HOH comp because he’s definitely going home as a result of not winning it. Tyler told Haleigh earlier today that she’s still definitely good. Kaycee told Haleigh the same thing. The plan is definitely for them to vote out Scottie this week. They don’t know what Scottie would do if he stayed and won HOH. Plus, there’s the fact that they all unanimously voted him out the first time around.
I can’t say that I feel bad about this at all. I think it’s time for Scottie to go. Before Scottie got voted out the first time, I thought he got screwed over by Faysal which is true. But, I also thought Scottie was a lot smarter because he seemed to be piecing together Tyler’s L6 alliance and what not. I guess that was just a fake-out or something because ever he’s gotten back in the house this second time, he’s been totally off with his read of the house.
Last night, Scottie told Haleigh that Tyler told him he was the pawn and that Haleigh is getting voted out this Thursday night. Even if that were the case which it’s not, he shouldn’t have told her that. For one, it would make her feel really bad which it did. Second , it would more than likely cause her to campaign more to stay over him.
Haleigh went off and cried after Scottie told her that, because she was thinking Tyler possibly played her again. However, Kaycee saw Haleigh crying and asked her what the problem is. Haleigh told her all about what Scottie said.
Then Kaycee reassured Haleigh that Scottie doesn’t really know what’s going on. “You’re good.”
The conversation went like this. Haleigh said, “Scottie told me he was the pawn.” Kaycee said,”When did he tell you that?” Haleigh said, “An hour ago.” Kaycee said,”Do you trust me? Don’t worry about anything. You are good.”
Kaycee continued to tell Haleigh, “I promise you are good. You can’t say anything.” Haleigh said, “I didn’t.” Kaycee said, “Scottie doesn’t really know what’s going on. Just stay calm.” Haleigh said, “I don’t even want to talk to him anymore. He keeps talking about stupid sh@#t.”
Haleigh said, “You think Angela will keep me?” Kaycee said, “Yes.” Haleigh said, “I love Angela. I want her to love me back. I feel so comfortable around you and hanging out with you, Angela and Tyler.” Kaycee said, “You are good. We all love you.” Haleigh said, “I love y’all too. That’s why I was sad.”
After today’s Power Of Veto Ceremony, Haleigh had this same conversation with Tyler. Once again, Tyler reassured Haleigh that she’s safe this week and to not mention any of this to Scottie. Tyler told Haleigh that he never told Scottie he was the pawn, but that he did try to make him feel that way. Tyler just kept telling Haleigh not to freak out. She said she wouldn’t.
Another thing to make note of is at the Power of veto Ceremony, it’s reported that both Scottie and Haleigh gave some epic and funny speeches. Some of the houseguests were seen talking about it on the live feeds. Sam was seen saying of the speeches, “Brett set the bar ,and Haleigh and Scottie just smashed it.” Kaycee said, “I almost considered the deal Haleigh proposed in her speech.”
At one point, the houseguests were in the kitchen laughing about all the times the “F” word slipped out during Haleigh and Scottie’s speeches for the Veto Meeting.” So, it’ll be interesting to see how CBS edits that part out for the TV show.
