Disney World Just Did Something Very Wonderful For A Little, 6 Year Old, New York Girl
Hey, “Disney World” fans. We’ve got a wonderful, feel good report to share with you guys this time. According to the folks over at wkbw.com , which is the website for a local ABC Buffalo,New York TV station, a little 6 year old girl’s dreams were made true by the wonderful folks at Walt Disney World and some very nice strangers!
This past October 2018, a little six year old girl in New York named Layla Lester met a wedding bride in Akron Falls Park. However, young Layla mistook the wedding bride for one of her favorite Disney characters Cinderella. The bride’s photographer took photos of little Layla’s moment with the wedding bride. That moment, later created a story that eventually went viral according to wkbw.com.
Shortly after Layla’s story went viral, a GoFundMe account was started with the sole purpose of raising enough cash to help Layla and her family take a trip to Walt Disney World in Florida to meet the real Cinderella! The GoFundMe account proved to be a success because this past Tuesday morning, November 27, 2018, Layla was seen visiting the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to receive her own princess makeover! She also met Cinderella at Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom Park.
Wkbw.com caught video footage of Layla’s trip to Walt Disney World. It started off with Layla’s visit to meet Cinderella. She was seen dancing and hugging Cinderella. It was very adorable to watch. Next, they showed Layala visiting the Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park. In this footage, Layla was walking with her parents. They also snapped photos of her standing in front of the huge castle.
Next, the video showed young Layla at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom Park. In this footage, Layla was all dressed up in a princess outfit. She was seen getting her fingernails painted and her hair done. She really got the full works while there. After that, the video went back in time a little bit to when they first saw Layla meeting that wedding bride in New York.
Lastly, they interviewed Layla’s mother Jessica Lester. She had some wonderful things to say about the experience stating, “When Layla hugged Cinderella’s arm, she was touching her face and her dress. It warms your heart because there aren’t many moments that Layla gets that excited about. So, that she was that excited and that tuned into Cinderella. It really means a lot.
Kindness is important. Even a smile to a stranger. A hello could mean the world to them. It could change their whole day. It could change their whole life. Look at Layla. She’s getting just from the kindness of a stranger. She’s at Disney World, meeting all of her favorite princesses especially Cinderella.”
