Big Brother Host Julie Chen Released New Instagram Promo For Celebrity Big Brother Season 2 Today
Hey, fellow “Big Brother” fans. We’ve got some exciting news to share wih you guys in this article. It’s in reference to our long time and beloved host Julie Chen. Earlier today, January 10, 2019, Julie finally came out of hiding to reveal that she’s back and ready to get this new, second season of Celebrity Big Brother started!
She did it via her Instagram account, and all the media outlets quickly jumped on it. In her Instagram promo post, Julie put up a photo that features her on the set of Big Brother, looking as happy as can be. She captioned the photo with the following words: “So excited to be back on this stage. who else is ready for the second season of #BBCeleb?! Double Tap if you’re counting down to the premiere on Monday January 21!” You guys can view that post on Julie Chen’s official Instagram account by Clicking Here.
In People.com’s article about this, they posted some very nice words that one of their sources had to say about Julie Chen when she’s on the set of Big Brother. It turns out that she is indeed very nice to all the crewmembers and wants to make Big Brother as good as possible.
Their source stated,”Julie has always been very hands-on as the host. She knows everyone’s name on the crew, and she is very involved. She’s been doing this show for 18 years. She’s the face of Big Brother. A lot of the crew members are millennials who grew up watching her, and she has been so great to them. She’s very approachable, and she really cares about making the show as good as possible.”
As previously reported, Julie has had a lot to deal with these past couple of months because her husband Les Moonves got ousted from CBS as the CEO of the network back in September 2018. Around that time, there were lots of rumors swirling around about Julie possibly quitting Big Brother over it.
She did end up quitting the popular CBS daytime show “The Talk” because they talk about controversial issues which would include her husband. However, it’s been confirmed that she will continue hosting Big Brother because all she has to do is just show up and host it. So, that’s what she’s going to do, and we’re very glad she is. She’s been the face of the show since it started airing in the USA way back in 2000. I think we can all agree it just wouldn’t be the same without her.
Since leaving “The Talk,” ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba was selected to take over her spot permanently on that show, and it appears that she’s doing a wonderful job. Julie actually mentioned that Carrie Ann would be great in her spot during her exit speech. So, it’s definitely no coincidence that Carrie Ann got the job.
People.com pointed out that Carrie Ann had nothing but wonderful things to say about Julie. She revealed that Julie actually sent her flowers and a very supportive message when she got “The Talk” job. Carrie Ann explained, “Julie has been nothing but supportive. When she learned that I got the job, she sent me the most beautiful floral arrangement. She’s like, ‘I’m always in your corner.’ Woman to woman, that’s amazing.”
We agree. That is amazing indeed. In related news, a list of Celebrity Big Brother season 2 castmembers has surfaced, but none of them are officially confirmed by CBS or the Big Brother producers. The list featured such names as: Aubrey O’Day: Danity Kane musician, Bobby Moynihan: Saturday Night Live comedian, Caitlyn Jenner: former Olympian and reality star, Calvin Johnson: NFL player, Carson Kressley: Queer Eye reality show Fashion expert, Dina Lohan: manager of Lindsay Lohan and reality star, Jonathan Bennett: actor, Sean Spicer: former White House director of communications, Stephen Baldwin: actor, Tiffany Pollard: reality star and Tonya Harding: former Olympic ice skater.
Yesterday, a little bit more of a credible leak was revealed when video footage of former WWE wrestling star Eva Marie surfaced on Twitter. The footage supposedly featured her cutting a promo for Celebrity Big Brother season 2. The Twitter user captioned it with the words: “Looks like we do have our first HG! Natalie Eva Marie (WWE & Total Divas)#CBBUS2.” You guys can view that tweet on Twitter by Clicking Here.
