Let’s get into the season 9 numbers for The Walking Dead. According to the folks over at, The Walking Dead season 9 viewership fluctuated between 6 million and 4 million viewers an episode. The most viewers came at the beginning of the season and then slowly fell off. The ratings for the 18 to 49 year old demographic fluctuated between 2.49 and 1.48. Those also fell off later in the season

The season 9 premiere episode 1 drew in 6.076 million viewers, and it scored a 2.49 for the ratings. Ever since then, it’s been dropping with little spikes here and there. The most recent episode 15 drew in 4.152 million viewers, and it scored a 1.48 rating. Those are still pretty strong numbers for a cable show, but they’re nothing like what they used to be.
