The Voice Finale: Maelyn Jarmon Won It All Tonight, May 21, 2019

Hey, “The Voice” fans. Tonight, May 21, 2019, was indeed the night that the 16th season of The Voice came to an end, and a winner was crowned. It came down to the final 4 contestants: Maelyn Jarmon, Gyth Rigdon, Dexter Roberts and Andrew Sevener. Of course, all the four coaches/judges: Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend were on hand.

Tonight’s LIVE finale results show kicked off with Andrew Sevener and Travis Tritt hitting up the stage to sing the song, “Trouble.” Right after that, the Jonas Brothers hopped on stage to perform their new single called, “Cool.”

Shortly after that, Khalid who was an advisor this season for Team John Legend, hit the stage to sing a song called, “Talk.”

Next, Mari and Kim Cherry performed a duet together. They sang, “Good As Hell” by Lizzo. After they finished up, Jej Vinson, Shawn Sounds, LB Crew, Domenic Haynes and Kalvin Jarvis quickly followed them up by singing, “My Prerogative” by Bobby Brown.

After all of that, One Republic hit the stage to sing, “Rescue Me.” Next, it was revealed that the top 4 finalists: Maelyn Jarmon, Gyth Rigdon, Dexter Roberts and Andrew Sevener all won brand new cars from freaking Toyota! They got the brand new RAV4 model. So, good for them.

Next, Hootie & The Blowfish hit the stage to sing the song,”Let Her Cry.” Right after that, three-time Grammy winner Sarah McLaughlin joined Maelyn on the stage to sing, “Angel.” Shortly after that, BTS arrived on stage to sing, “Boy with Luv.”

Next, Dexter hit up the stage with one of his mentors Toby Keith for a duet performance of the song, “That’s Country Bro.” After that, Halsey hit up the stage to sing, “Nightmare.” Right after that, Stevie Nicks, Celia Babini, Betsy Ade, Lisa Ramey and Presley Tennant did a big group performance for the song, “Edge of Seventeen”

Next,Gyth Rigdon joined up with Hootie & The Blowfish on stage to sing a song called, “Hold My Hand.” Right after that, mega country music star Taylor Swift hit the stage with Brendon Urie to sing the song called, “Me.”

After all of that, host Carson Daly finally got right down to business. He revealed that Andrew Sevener of Team Blake landed in 4th place. Next, Carson revealed that Dexter Roberts of Team Blake took third place.

So, it came down to Maelyn Jarmon of team John Legend and Gyth Rigdon of Team Blake Shelton. Carson revealed that Maelyn Jarmon did indeed get more votes than Gyth after last night’s LIVE voting. That means Maelyn Jarmon is your winner of “The Voice” season 16! Gyth, of course, is the runner up. So, congrats to Maelyn for winning the whole damn thing.

Heck,congrats to all four of these finalists. They all got brand new cars out of this! That’s more than what they came with.
