MasterChef July 4, 2019 Episode Is Not New Tonight. It’s A Rerun

Hey, “MasterChef” fans. We have some sad news for you guys today. It turns out that tonight’s July 4, 2019 episode is indeed a rerun. It’s not featuring any new cook offs. We’re not absolutely sure why tonight’s episode is a rerun, but we’re guessing it has to do with the 4th of July holiday or not. Who knows?

The only thing we know is that FOX did air a rerun tonight, and that it’s a rerun of the 6th episode of the 10th season. FOX’s official description of it reads like this, “Hot & Spicy. The Top 17 remaining home cooks compete in a high-pressure mystery box challenge.

Inspired by special guest Alessandra Ambrosio for a shot at immunity. When the judges throw the contestants a curve-ball half-way through the challenge, the home cooks will need to use all their skills to win.”

If any of you guys missed that particular episode the first time it aired, or just want to watch it again, you might still want to tune into FOX to catch it.

On the other hand, if you’ve already seen the 6th episode and have absolutely no desire to watch it again, you will most certainly want to find something else to do or watch tonight if you haven’t already.

Now that we’ve gotten that bad news out of the way, we do have some good news for you guys. It turns out that this rerun situation is just for tonight. Also, it happened last night, but that already history. So, we’re not worried about that.

Next week, FOX will get right back to airing brand new episodes for Masterchef on Wednesday night, July 10, 2019 and Thursday night, July 11,2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.

The July 11, 2019 episode will be the one that features another big elimination. So, be sure to mark down those very important dates on your TV show calendars.

We also have some official descriptions for both of next week’s brand new episodes. The July 10, 2019 Episode 8 is entitled, “Joe Takes A Risk.” The official description reads like this, “The Top 16 home cooks fight for immunity in an epic team challenge.

Split into two teams, the corresponding captains are immersed in Italian cuisine as they head to Joe Bastianich’s Los Angeles restaurant, Osteria Mozza, to learn how to make a gourmet, authentic three-course Italian meal.

The team captains then make their way back to the “MasterChef” kitchen to teach their respective teams how to execute the same meal for the judges.”

The Thursday night, July 11, 2019 episode 9 is entitled, “Tag Team Tears and Tantrums.” The official description reads like this, “With two eliminations on the line, the pressure is on for the losing team in one of the series’ most daunting challenges: the tag-team challenge.

The home cooks’ taste buds go on an extraordinary world tour as they are tasked with creating dishes inspired by the “MasterChef” shows aired around the world. In just 75 minutes, the home cooks will go around the world, creating a platter featuring meals from the Philippine Islands, India, Italy, Mexico, Morocco and China.”

So, that all sounds very exciting. We will, of course, be back for our recap of Thursday night’s episode. So, look out for that. MasterChef season 19 is currently doing pretty well for a Summer reality show. It’s averaging 2.815 million LIVE viewers per episode along with a 0.72 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics.

The last new episode that aired back on June 27, 2019 brought in 2.933 million LIVE viewers, and it scored a 0.70 rating. Again, those numbers look pretty good. They’re not great, but I think they’re just enough for a summer reality show. We’ll see how the rest of this season plays out.

Again, new episodes are scheduled for next Wednesday and Thursday night, July 10 and July 11, 2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on FOX.

Alright guys. That’s all we’ve got for this latest MasterChef report, but definitely stay tuned for more.
