‘Survivor’ October 2, 2019 Voted Off Molly Byman In A Major Blindside (Recap)
Hey, “Survivor” fans. Tonight, October 2, 2019, another episode did indeed air, and another unlucky contestant was sent packing with a major blindside attached.
Tonight’s episode kicked off with Aaron expressing how pissed off that everyone voted off Ronnie at the last tribal council without letting him know about it first. Apparently, Aaron was as blindsided as Ronnie was. The only difference was Ronnie went home. Poor Ronnie.
Missy eventually talked Aaron down a bit, but he still told the private cams he was feeling very untrusting right now.
Molly was seen complaining about Noura. She told the private cams that Noura is very annoying. Noura revealed that she felt the same feelings of disdain for Molly. Jason was there help Noura calm down and keep her cool. Jason told the private cams he felt he owed Noura something for warning him he was a target early on.
While out roaming for fire wood, Chelsea stumbled upon a very valuable hidden immunity idol. She didn’t tell a soul about it. She also expressed that she thinks the guys are way behind the girls this season.
At this point, Kellee was told she must head to the “Island Of The Idols.” So, off she went. When she got there, she was greeted by Boston Rob and Sandra Diaz. They gave her the same spill about not being able to play for the money and what not.
They talked to Kellee for a super long time. They deliberately talked to her about a lot of seemingly useless information about themselves. However, they were actually testing Kellee the entire time in regards to her listening and bonding skills.
Once Kellee was annoyed out of her friggin mind, Rob and Sandra finally revealed they were testing her listening skills, and now it was time for her test if she chose to take it.
Rob told Kellee if she got 4 answers out of 5 questions correct, she would win an immunity idol that’s good for the next two tribal councils. However, if she lost, she would not get to vote at the next tribal council.
Kellee wasn’t sure she could win. So, Rob sweetened the deal by only requiring her to get three answers correct. That was good enough for her to bite. They asked her questions about various things they mentioned earlier on when they were rambling nonstop, and Kellee ended up getting her three questions correct in a row!
Before she left, she picked who would go to the Island Of The Idols next. Kelly ended up lying to the rest about what happened on Island Of The Idols. She even went as far as to cry saying,”Please believe me.”
They didn’t show who Kellee picked to go to the Island Of The Idols. So, we’ll have to wait and see who that turns out to be in next week’s episode.
Next, host Jeff Probst showed up to host the immunity challenge. The two tribes had to retrieve three balls from the water. Then run back and land them in three targets on a slanted table for the win. The winning team also won rewards, which was spices.
The Lairo tribe ended up winning the immunity challenge in a very close battle. So, the Vokai tribe had to figure out who to send packing.
At this point, the Vokai started immediately talking about getting rid of Noura or Jason. Molly said she definitely wanted Noura out. Some of the other women actually started talking about getting Molly out.
Lauren was the main one that spearheaded the Molly attack. She said why get rid of two people who are on the outs when they can split up the strong group of Molly,Jamal and Jack.
The feeling was that Molly definitely had too much power in the game. Tommy was also seen going back and forth about whether to vote Molly out heading into tribal council
At the tribal council meeting, the Vokai did the usual. They talked a lot of game. Jason immediately brought up how he’s been on the outs since day one because of people’s paranoia in regards to him searching for an immunity idol. He basically tried to prove he doesn’t have an idol the entire time.
Of course, they all eventually casts their votes. Afterwards, it was revealed that Noura received 2 votes. Jason got 1 vote, and Molly got a whopping 5 votes!
So, that definitely landed her on the outs at the end of the day, and man was she shocked and blindsided. She told the private cams, “I was stunned, hurt and dizzy from this blind side. I truly did not know. I must have gotten too cocky. I’ve been humbled.”
Molly did exit gracefully telling the group, “Good luck, guys.” So, she seems like a pretty cool person outside of the game.
We have to mention that Rob and Sandra secretly watch these tribal council meetings, and they showed footage of Sandra’s reaction to Molly’s hardcore blindside. Sandra said, “Dang, they played her a#$.” Wow! poor Molly.

I’m bummed she got voted out. She has a great smile that would be nice to see each week. Now I have to watch these other annoying losers. Without a pretty girl to look at the show can be pretty tedious.
