‘Modern Family’ Season 11, November 13, 2019 Episode 7 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, “Modern Family” fans. We’re pretty sure that most of you guys were very disappointed to learn that CBS didn’t air the next, new episode 7 of this current season 11 tonight,November 13, 2019.

We do have some good news for you. This particular delay will only be for this week. That means you guys can expect to see the new episode 7 of Modern Family air next Wednesday night, November 20, 2019 at approximately 8 pm central standard time on ABC of course. So, be sure to mark down that very important date on your TV show calendars.

So, what did ABC air instead of Mordern Family tonight, November 13, 2019? Well, according to the TV Guide listings, ABC cleared out their whole primetime schedule to give LIVE coverage of the 2019 CMA (Country Music Awards).

ABC’s official description of it reads like this, “THE 53RD ANNUAL CMA AWARDS. Carrie Underwood hosts this years event, with special guests Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton.


Performances include Eric Church, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, Dolly Parton with for KING & COUNTRY and Zach Williams, P!nk and Chris Stapleton, and Keith Urban.” They apparently devoted a whopping three hours of coverage to it.

We do have some good news for this article. ABC served up a new press release for the next new episode 7 of Modern Family. It does contain a few spoiler teasers. If you don’t like spoilers, it’s highly suggested that you exit this article right now.

If you don’t mind spoilers, by all means please keep reading this article. Now that we’ve gotten our spoiler warning out of the way, the new episode 7 press release revealed the episode is titled, “The Last Thanksgiving.” It sounds like episode 7 will feature some semi-interesting scenes.

In the new episode 7, Cameron and Mitchell’s friends will definitely get the wrong idea in their heads, thinking that Cameron and Mitchell have split up and picked a side.

Haley will try to pull off a nice gesture in this episode. Apparently, as a thank you to Claire and Phil for helping out with the twins, Haley will attempt to cook up a Thanksgiving meal.

Elsewhere, Jay will attempt to have a bit of fun with Phil and Dylan by inviting them to fly his model plane. Apparently,Phil will think this is a solid opportunity for him to get his dignity back after things went so bad during their first outing 10 years ago.

ABC’s official description for episode 7 reads like this,”Cameron and Mitchell’s friends mistakenly assume they have split up and have definitely chosen a side, and Haley attempts to cook Thanksgiving dinner as a thank you for Claire and Phil’s support with the twins.

Meanwhile, Jay invites Phil and Dylan out to fly his model plane, and Phil thinks this is his chance to reclaim his dignity after their first outing 10 years ago went so wrong.”

Episode 7 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Christian Barillas as character Ronaldo, Kevin Daniels as character Longinus, Matthew Risch as character Jotham, Rory O’Malley as character Ptolemy and Eli Gelb as character Neil.

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 7 are: Ed O’Neill as character Jay Pritchett, Julie Bowen as character Claire Dunphy, Ty Burrell as character Phil Dunphy, Sofia Vergara as character Gloria Pritchett, Jesse Tyler Ferguson as character Mitchell Pritchett.

Season regulars continued: Eric Stonestreet as character Cameron Tucker, Sarah Hyland as character Haley Dunphy, Nolan Gould as character Luke Dunphy, Ariel Winter as character Alex Dunphy, Rico Rodriguez as character Manny Delgado, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons as character Lily Tucker-Pritchett, Jeremy Maguire as character Joe Pritchett and Reid Ewing as character Dylan Marshall.

Episode 7 was written by Jeffrey Richman ,and it was directed by Eric Dean Seaton. ABC’s press release confirmed that episode 7 is indeed scheduled to air next Wednesday night, November 20, 2019 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
