‘God Friended Me’ Season 2, January 19, 2020 Episode 13 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “God Friended Me” fans. We have some super bad news for you guys in this article. It turns out that CBS will not be airing the next,new episode for God Friended Me’s second season tonight, January 19, 2020. In fact, CBS won’t be airing it for quite some time. The show is apparently on another long break.
We have official word that the new episode 13 for God Friended Me’s current season 2 will not air until Sunday night, February 16, 2020 in its usual 7 pm central standard time slot on CBS of course. So, be sure to commit that very important date to memory or write it down on something.
So, what is CBS airing instead of God Friended Me tonight. According to the TV Guide listings, CBS is airing a rerun of their very popular crime drama, “NCIS.” It’s the 3rd episode of its current 17th season. It’s titled,”Going Mobile.”
CBS’ official description for it reads like this,”The body of a Marine lieutenant is found hidden under an 18-wheeler, and the NCIS team tracks the vehicle’s previous locations to pinpoint the crime scene and suspect. Also, Sloane encourages the team to talk about Ziva’s recent reappearance.”
Then next Sunday night, January 26, 2020, CBS will be airing LIVE coverage of the 2020 aka 62nd Annual Grammy Awards! That’s right, guys. CBS will be devoting their entire primetime line up to airing this award show from 7 pm to 10:30 pm central standard time.
For those few of you who may not know what the Grammy Awards are. They are the highest award an artist can receive for their music. So, The Grammy Awards are most certainly a big deal for music fans.
A brief description of this year’s 2020 Grammy Awards reads like this, “Alicia Keys will host the ceremony, having hosted the previous year’s ceremony as well. It will recognize the best recordings, compositions, and artists of the eligibility year, running from October 1, 2018 to August 31, 2019.
Lizzo received the most nominations of any artist with eight, followed by Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X with six each. Aerosmith will be honored as the MusiCares Person of the Year two nights prior to the telecast.”
If any of you guys are interested in watching this offseason line up, you will most likely want to keep tuning into CBS on those nights. Beyond these two dates, we’ll have to play it by ear because the TV Guide listings only extend out to the immediate two weeks.
If you have no desire in seeing anything else other than God Friended Me, you want to fill your calendar up with something else until February 16, 2020 rolls around.
Normally, this would be the time where we tell you guys what’s coming up in the next, new episode 13 of God Friended Me, but CBS has released absolutely no preview materials for episode 13. Hell, we don’t even have a title for it at this point in time. We expect to see something any day now. But, at the moment, we’re fresh out of luck.
We do have some season 2 ratings news for “God Friended Me” though. The ratings and LIVE viewership numbers look pretty strong. Season 2 is currently averaging 6.404 million LIVE viewers per episode and a 0.73 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics.
The last episode 12, which aired on January 12, 2020 brought in 6.187 million LIVE viewers and a 0.77 ratings score.
That’s not too shabby at all. CBS has yet to renew God Friended Me for a new season 3. However, we would be shocked if they didn’t later on this year.
Again,it’s confirmed that the next, new episode 13 of God Friended Me season 2 is scheduled to air on Sunday night, February 16, 2020 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.

Try another Channel. This is not right for the viewer I waited whole week until last minute canceled. We had this done many times already Please look elsewhere for the views please find another channel to air this maybe more often as a week is long to wait to find out. Very irritating at CBS now. Maybe they do this to cancel the series all together not enough viewers, less show less viewers. I will keep watching guess will wait now til Feb.16, 2020. Still mad. So much wanted to watch today.
I was very patient in trying to find out why God Friended Me was not on last Sunday. Thank you for writing this and helping me put to rest my confusion.
In my opinion, CBS should sell the rights to another channel or a streaming service. It just irritates me more towards CBS than they should like.
