Hey, “Chicago Fire” fans. We’re just going to come right out and say it. We’ve totally got bad news for you guys. For some reason unbeknownst to us, NBC will not air the next, new episode 19 of this current Chicago Fire season 8 tonight, April 1, 2020.

The good news is that the show will be right back in action with the new episode 19 next Wednesday night, April 8, 2020 in its usual 8 pm central standard time slot on NBC of course.

So, be sure to not forget that very important date and time or else you will totally miss out unless you have DVR or something. If you want to watch it LIVE, you’ll need to remember that date and time.

Anyways, so what is NBC airing instead of the next, new episode 19 of Chicago Fire’s current season 8 tonight? That is a very good question. According to the TV Guide listings, you guys can expect to get a good ole repeat episode of Chicago Fire from NBC tonight.

That’s right, guys. Tonight’s repeat episode will be the 12th episode of this current season 8. It’s titled, “Then Nick Porter Happened.”

NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “A series of false alarms at a private school hinders the firehouse’s ability to respond to legitimate emergency calls.

Kidd asks for ideas to surprise Severide on his birthday. Cruz and Brett rent out their extra room, but the new tenant is more than they bargained for.”

If any of you guys maybe missed that episode the first time it aired, or you just wouldn’t mind watching it again, you might want to still tune in to NBC tonight. However, if you definitely don’t want to see this repeat episode, you will certainly want to make sure you start looking for something else as soon as you can.

We were able to track down some new information for the next,new episode 19 of Chicago Fire’s current season 8. NBC put out an official press release for it. So, we’re going to run its contents by you guys real quick.

But first, we need to warn you guys that this press release does contain light spoiler teasers. If any of you guys have a problem with spoiler teasers, we do highly suggest that you not read the rest of this article.

Now that we have warned everyone of possible spoilers, it is time to finally take a look at this episode 19 press release. First off, it gives us an official title for episode 19. It’s called,”LIGHT THINGS UP.”

It sounds like episode 19 will feature some very intense, dramatic, serious and action-filled scenes.

In the new episode 19, a crazy group of rabble-rousers will certainly cause a ton of tension to arise by trying to lock down the friggin firehouse!

Brett will have a very important moment in this episode. At some point, a major decision will be thrown in Brett’s direction, and he’ll have to go ahead and make it. What will he do?

A very big day will be in store for Joe Cruz. So,he will certainly make sure he’s prepared for it.

Elsewhere, Gallo and Ritter will definitely have their hands full in this episode. At some point, these two will be in charge of launching the Firehouse 51 into the social media space.

NBC’s official description for episode 19 reads like this, “Tension builds when a group of rabble-rousers attempt to lock down the firehouse.

Brett is faced with a monumental decision. Cruz readies himself for a big day. Gallo and Ritter attempt to launch Firehouse 51 into the social media age.”

Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 19 of Chicago Fire’s current season 8 is scheduled to air next Wednesday night, April 8, 2020 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
